Doug is the kind of lawyer whom will help one out of a tight spot in time to see the letters from the dozens of other lawyers asking to help you and your family and/or friends provide legal defense in court. He has helped me with two cases, both of which I incriminated myself in before he was in the picture, and gave clear and concise direction as to what I need to do, what I ought to do, and when to do those things, all in concert with my day to day schedule of life. He’s the kind of guy that helped me to get a real life smile from the judge on my last day in court, without him even being there. Doug and Michelle took what could have been a really bad situation for us and turned it into something more manageable. We felt confident that they were representing us properly during all phases of the petty theft case. Michelle kept me informed of the status of the case, even calling me as she was leaving the courthouse on many occasions to give me the latest news on how the case was progressing. They were ultimately able to negotiate with the DA a much lighter sentence for the shoplifting charge, which was never disputed by us, to something that was much easier for our family to handle and manage. I have worked closely with Doug for the last three years. I know him on both a personal and professional level, and continue to be amazed at the lengths he will go to in service of his clients.
