In 2008, as I was trying to get divorced! I was with my previous lawyer.(KjH) Who really was not on my side.
A woman came up to me and said “I don’t like how your being treated here, you need to go speak with Deborah Jurgensen”.
The next day I met with DebbieJ and she offered to help Pro-Bono for one day!
God bless her dear heart, she continued to represent me for seventeen months. My ex refused to sign the divorce papers and I was dragged thru the system. Into the abyss! (BP) was my exs attorney, and they were delibrately allowing many allegations to be made against me. To stall and to defame me and to leave me penniless and homeless after 25 years.
But God is Good and brought me to Mrs. Deborah Jurgensen! She always had my back! She was so calm and collected and she was swift in her responses to the courts. She never waivered or left me, She helped me connect with other womens groups that would help me improve my life. I worked with teen challenge and worked with CASA at ICFS. I truly believe that she saved and blessed my life. Her team was remarkable and she even got pro-bono lawyer of the year Award!

I knew from the get go she was fierce, compassionate and caring about my situation. I had no choice at the time when I hired her, and I was desperate for help by any attorney that knew how to fight an emergency custody order gone wrong. She was fast, filed the petition just in time and she got me my child back from an abusive grandmother to my son, a day I will never forget. I’m sad to see she retired because out of all the family lawyers I’ve been to have never been as amazing as she was and I’m sure she still is. At this time, like right now, I need her and she’s nowhere to be found. The retired ones are usually the best ones in my opinion. As for the earlier comments, only someone educated that knows how difficult it is for lawyers to deal with cases can understand what stress lawyers go through dealing with individual cases. I know she wasn’t incompetent or lazy. My custody case that she won is proof. You are someone I have never forgotten Deborah love you so much ❤️

I hired her for my family law case in which my sons father was alienating him from me. I knew I needed a really good attorney to help fight for me. I contacted Deborah MONTHS before my case and every time I meet with her she just wanted more $$$ but I wasn’t seeing any paperwork filed, completed and NOTHING was being worked on my case. A day before my court date she still didn’t have any statement or prep for court. Day of court, she was late, told me to go over the case with her again? Whattt???? In court, she was scrambling with questions. Waste of time and money and sadly I lost my case. I was balling my eyes out and she just says to me: can’t win them alll. I couldn’t believe it! Do NOT hire her. Biggest regret ever!!!

She was incompetent in every way, failed to prepare for the case, did not understand the law, submitted the wrong paperwork, was completely lazy and we ultimately had to dismiss our botched case, hire a new lawyer and start over.

She doesn't relieve any stress at all. I don't know who gave her law degree. I'm sitting here in tears because she doesn't want to champion for her clients. I'm doing all the work myself while she sits up and literally do nothing. Every meeting I'm left with more questions and no results.

In my opinion Deborah Jurgensen is an incompetent lawyer. I was under the impression my divorce was finalized and got engaged to get re-married. when I tried to obtain a marriage license I found out she had not filed my paperwork yet and now I have had to change my wedding date.
