I have known Jim for over thirty years in that time I have seen how hard and motivated he is to protect his clients. As an Attorney I have refered many cases to Jim. . Jim is not afraid to.take on the government in civil rights cases and win. I knew Jim when he was a police officer, as I was. Jim was always professional and tough, but also caring and on the side of people who suffer an injustice. He knows the government from the inside, you can not do better then James Terrell he is truly the best in his field, and can't stand to see govemental misconduct by the police. I have also hired Jim in the past for friends and relatives

My husband and I had some problems and we had a fight. I called the police on him and they took him to jail. He was on probation at the time and I didn’t really realize that by me calling the cops on him that he would get thrown back in jail. The cops said he was resisting arrest and he wasn’t. He was just shocked and mad that I called the cops. Mr. Terrell was the best Attorney we have ever had and we’ve had several. He got the results we needed and my husband is now back home. Mr. Terrell wrote a letter to my husband’s boss and he could have lost his job. The video I took of the cops beating up my husband for no reason helped.

My Boyfriend and I had a harrowing experience with the local police! I don't want to go into the details of the circumstances, but Mr Terrell went above and beyond to help us. Our case was able to be resolved with out going to court. We received a nice settlement, the money is nice but it was even better to expose a corrupt system!!

Mr Terrell represented my son who made a really bad decision that added up to 4 felony convictions. Through this entire process Mr Terrell followed each case into 3 counties for a mama who was lost and desperate to help her son. His compassion, experience, and vigilance saved a young mans life. My son will have the 2nd chance he deserves thanks to James Terrell.

Mr Terrell did exactly what he was hired to do. He treated me with respect and dignity. He truly cared about me as an I individual and even offered to do some other work for me pro bono because he really cares about my well being. Thank you again for not making it about how much you can make on a case, instead you did your job with integrity. I would hire you again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Terrell does not communicate well with his clients. He does not always respond to phone calls or text messages asking about the case, if he does it is in brief and non specific answers. He shows up late to the court date and sometimes does not show up at all, with no advance warning. Overall he does not hold up to his word. I wish I would not have been cheep and paid the higher fees for a different attorney. But now I am stuck with him, because I do not have the money to retain a new attorney.

This attorney is horrible, you will regret if you hire him. Took my money, breached contract and was no where to be found. Does not show up in court for representation and lied. Refused to give money back.

I retained james terrell in 05 and after paying him it was extremely hard to get in contact with him. I had to catch him at court or in town to talk to him and he did as little as possible to look into my case, in fact I have no knowledge at all that he ever looked up anything or did any research at all. He didnt even show up to one of my court dates!
