Mr. Liss is such a professional and really knows his job and the court sysyem well. I feel his long time practice in the community and his professional relationships with judicial personnel give him an edge to help his clients. He is open, honest and easy to talk to . He cares about his clients . His fees are reasonable and he will continue to support you all the way through your situation. I highly recommend him if you have a need for representation.

Peter is an excellent attorney. He did a great job handling our son's case. Peter is very knowledgeable and experienced and helped us get the best possible outcome. Peter is the best attorney, he has helped a few of my family members and has done a terrific job. When my husband was having legal problems with out hesitation I contacted him. All I can say is... Peter Liss SAVED MY BUTT. Big time. You see, I did something really dumb: I crashed my brand new M4 while drag racing. And my BAC was over .1%. To make matters worse, I had a friend in the car who ran right before the cops showed up (and they were PISSED when they figured out someone had fled the scene.) I was charged with a DUI, and found Peter on Yelp. His reviews were superb, so I decided to give him a call. On our introductory phone call, Peter managed my expectations. He said "Look... you crashed your car with a .12% BAC. There's about a 70% chance you're going to be convicted of a full DUI. But I'll do my best to help you." I appreciated how direct Peter was – in other words, he wasn't trying to sell me the world, and he spent quite a bit of time asking me intelligent questions about the incident and then educated me about our strategic options. So I pulled the trigger and hired him. BEST MOVE EVER. Because Peter worked his magic, charmed the DA, and convinced her to drop the charges down to a 'wet reckless'. For the record, a 'wet reckless' comes with significantly less penalties, and you don't have a DUI on your record. Bottom line: If you (like myself) made a stupid mistake, and you've found yourself in some hot water... then GO WITH PETER LISS. He's your best bet.

Unfortunately I am writing this review because I got myself in trouble once again. FORTUNATELY I found Peter Liss. I have had attorneys in the past and have watched them pass off my case and basically just take my money. Peter is an amazing lawyer and person. From the very beginning he was honest about the possibilities for the outcome of my case and never tried to sugar coat anything. He is truly a magician in the court room. He commands respect from the Judge and the prosecution and stands by his clients to get the best possible outcome in every case. I was by no means innocent and I was facing some big time trouble, Peter %100 saved my behind and not only kept me out of prison but ensured I could stay on the right path to recovery. I am eternally grateful to him and his staff!!!

I first contacted Peter Liss after reading many of his great reviews. Being stuck in a difficult situation, I felt that along with his impressive credentials, he was best suited in helping me with my case. And I wasn't wrong! From the start, Peter was very realistic about what the outcome of my case may be with the cards being stacked against me. But, with Peter I received the best possible outcome and could not be more thrilled! Not only that, but with Peter he resolved my situation quickly, efficiently, and confidently while walking me through and coaching me through the entire process. I am convinced that if I had chosen anyone else to handle my case I would still be stuck in a difficult situation. For that reason I am extremely thankful that I found Peter Liss!

If you are every between a rock and a hard place ~ Attorney Peter Liss is the only call to make. I was in a difficult position and had the cards stacked against me. Peter knew exactly how to handle a stern - aggressive prosecutor and was able to convince a judge (who was a former lead prosecutor) that this case was not what the DA made it out to be. Peter was always available to take my calls and emails. I was always informed of what was going to happen next. And when in Court, he had the Judge yelling to the DA that their case makes no sense! What lawyer can get that to happen? Only PETER LISS. He's trusted by judges and that is what kept me home with my family rather than a prison cell. We owe him everything!

There are 3 criteria that I applied to the 5+ lawyers that I spoke with about my situation and they are as follows: 1) Experience 2) Knowledge 3) Intelligence I've found that Peter Liss has all of these in spades. When I met with Peter last month, he had a level of experience that only comes with age and experience. I spoke with more than 5 lawyers and Peter's calm and clear demeanor about my situation was very evident compared to his peers. You don't want to go with a young and eager beaver criminal lawyer. I found that Peter's experience was very helpful in how he articulated what was going to happen. He was very easy to speak with and did not try to instill fear into me like some lawyers. Peter was also very knowledgeable. He knows the court system, the law and probably most important, the DA's office (I personally thought this was helpful to get a deal done). If you've been a lawyer long enough, you hopefully will know the law and how court works. But how do you know if someone is knowledgeable? In my conversation with Peter, I found him to be self-aware of what he could do and would do and what he would/could not. His reasoning and thought process about how he would advocate for my situation showed me that he knew what he was talking about. Lastly, he's smart. There are some lawyers that I spoke to that made my situation sound difficult and complicated. Peter simplified things for me. He narrowed my situation down to the core elements and gave me a black and white picture and showed me where the grey area was. I've death with all kinds of people all my life and I find that the smart ones take complicated situations and distill them down to what's important. Dumb people just keep talking and don't know what they are talking about. Peter immediately grasped my situation and was able to pinpoint what I was up against. No BS and no sugar coating but also did not do it in an offensive manner. I hope my situation ends positively and yes, I'm writing my review early on before any sentencing because this is how I feel about Peter right now.
