I had domestic violence misdemeanor on my record and due to this I was unable to pass background check for new job opportunities. After of almost one year of unemployment I finally got a new job opportunity and received an offer from the company with the pre-condition of passing the background check. However, once the company performed the background check this misdemeanor showed on my record and the offer was rescinded and given a week to clear my record or the offer will be completely revoked. I called Mr. Liss office and within a few minutes Mr. Liss called me and said he will try his best to get the record expunged. I was skeptical but hired Mr. Liss. He did what he had promised and expunged my record within a couple of days, and he followed with the court so that my file was updated a few days later. My misdemeanor was expunged, and my record cleared within a week and I was hired by the company and will start in two weeks. Throughout the process he kept me updated and informed of the status.
