I had the good fortune to work closely with Lisa while going through the difficult process off divorce and child custody. In all my meetings with Lisa, she was always extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and truly easy to work with. I certainly hope that I will never be in need of such legal help again, but I would definitely trust Lisa to handle any issue I might have with professionalism, humor, kindness, and compassion.

As my first-time needing an advocate (which was glad several others, including an officer helped me to realize), it felt like a fairly disorienting process to receive protection through a restraining order, and was so grateful to have Lisa's support! She listens (and explains complexity) well, thoughtfully considers her clients' needs, and helps to provide honest, effective, and efficient support. I have nothing but positive things to say about Boris. Starting from the initial phone call and all the way through the proceedings, he was a pleasure to work with. My co-worker and I were calling around a few criminal defense lawyers after getting pulled over in alameda county. Ultimately my coworker was arrested and taken to jail. From the start the situation didn’t seem right. After she was released we started calling different attorneys and ultimately Boris was recommended to us.
