Worst criminal /liar/attorney in the Los Angeles area. I do not recommend he is a con man specializing in separating you from your money.

Let me take you back to 2020! I got my dui jan 5th and was recommended by Someone to go with this law office because they helped him out. What a joke Ali Ziai is!!! I know it's been years since my dui but I can't let go on how this office was a complete failure to me. First they keep pushing my court day back and back until they couldn't anymore. When it came down to my final court day they pressured me into just taking the the plea.(being charge with a second dui) I felt that I was out of luck and pressured into taking the plea ..plus they gave me an outrageous fee if I wanted to take to trial. So at the moment I said I would take the plea over the phone. I continued to overthink the plea and decided that I would go to trial but drop them as my attorney and go with a public defender. I am so great full that I made this decision!!! The public defender in venture county did more than these thieving crook Ali Ziai that I gave $$ too!! My public defender got my second dui charge dropped down to a 1st dui.!! Watch where you spend your money at, even some one that has recommended a place can end up to a failure!

Don't waste your money on hiring Ali Ziai. Absolutely worthless! He is completely clueless on DUI laws. He only showed up to court once and I had to go. If I didn't do my own research and turn in my own evidence, who knows what the outcome would have been. He stole my money and they did nothing. Find someone who knows what they are doing.

If I could go back in time and done my research on restraining order attorney's I would. I filed a DV restraining order on my ex boyfriend and four days before my court date I get a letter from his attorney that she will be defending him. I am in fear at this point and came across this law firm because of their five star ratings. Ali Ziai was my attorney, he was very sweet and understood that I didn't have the money to pay upfront but I eventually paid him before the due date. During the case process, I felt that he was more on my ex's boyfriend's side because he didn't want to use the evidence that proved my statements because he didn't "want to hurt my ex boyfriend's record" and wasn't going to mention the judge about certain things. In the hearing, he brought black and white pictures where I'm hurt, never used the screenshots and hospital records that proved that I was in fact hurt, and other evidence that my ex was in fact a narcissist/bad person. It got to the point that I told him, "I feel like you're more on his side then mine." With the help of my ex's attorney, the judge thought my statements/evidence where totally bogus and I'm just a jealous ex girlfriend who is trying to get revenge on her ex which wasn't true. My case was dismissed and Ali Ziai said that he was sorry and if the next 90 days something comes up he would be my attorney for free. If the respondent got away with assault, a DUI offense, and child porn, and doesn't need to go to a supervised child visitation facility to see my daughter, I believe he could get away with murder next. Two days after my case was dismissed, I catch my ex passing by during the middle of the night driving by my residence. I am more in fear now because my daughter can possibly be abducted and I will be hurt again. I feel very bad that I waisted my family's money for nothing and now I have no choice but to face this demon in family court by myself and with no attorney. I feel so stupid that I hired him.

warning - do not use Ali ziai attorney services!!! i paid them to defend what they claimed would not be a problem as i have a clean record and in their experience the judge would take that into account and most likely i would not have to pay anything else. not only did the judge not change drop the charged fees, (which i understand is beyond what any attorney could do) Ali ziai never informed me of the outcome of the case. this is beyond acceptable. my license was suspended and i had to pay $293 in addition to his outrageous fees like is said it's not what was ordered by the judge that is upsetting - what is upsetting is that Ali and his office never contacted me - via email - mail or phone - to inform me of what had occured. extremely upset - wherever i go and wherever i can post this i will - do not use Ali ziai attorney services - they do not care to follow up with clients!!!

Don’t feel like going into detail. Super disappointed. Seemed super trustworthy at first. Out for himself - which most are - but isn’t even good at hiding the fact.

He destroyed our life in the most ridiculous and indecent way. Be aware that the fact that he have so many good reviews is because they make you do it while you're in his office on the first visit, after you pay them you are on your own. How I know? Because I was one. My family is destroyed and I will always feel guilty because I was the one with the resolution to hire him. I can said so many things I will eventually do. Right now I know this is David against Golliat and what can we do......just hope to find justice in some other ways, while they do their game of playing with people's life. Ali Ziai is not recommended he is horrible.

Don’t Hire Him for DUI, just Hire Attorney who is telling you the Truth not the thing you like to hear. He won’t do anything in your Favor, he does everything for his Reputation in Courtroom. Dishonest Attorney who is not in your side.

He is the best lawyer. He has an extensive background as a prosecutor and it shows. I was very upset when I was served with a restraining order from my abusive ex-employer. This woman is completely unreasonable and was harassing me for over a year until I snapped and left some nasty voicemails. She then served me with a restraining order. I called a few lawyers but felt comfortable right away with Ali. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. All my questions were always answered promptly and thoroughly. We gathered all my evidence and were ready to go. However, I was so upset and nervous about seeing my tormentor in court. I was having a hard time sleeping and functioning from all the worry and stress. I expressed this concern with him and he understood and took charge. We had a slam-dunk case, so he talked to the person‘s attorney and she dismissed the case 11 hours before the hearing due to the evidence we had that proved she was the aggressor. Ali saved me big time. I have no idea how I would’ve got through this without him. Highly recommend him as an attorney and you’ll be in amazing hands if you retain him.

Ali Zia represented my mother for an elder abuse restraining order and he FAILED miserably. He is a one man show with nobody to rely on but himself. I remember he even complained about having to make copies because it took so much of his time and his old printer wouldn't work half the time. He claimed he was friends with the judge and that her case was a slam dunk. He said he worked 12+ years with the judge at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office and that he was very close friends and they hung out all the time. That of course was a lie as the judge repeatedly struck him down in court and made him look like a fool. He even went as far as to charge thousands of dollars for court transcripts and then refused to share them. When my mother lost the restraining order he blamed everyone but himself and even started to harass me by email. His REPRESENTATION IS A JOKE and when in court he looked confused, fumbled with paperwork, and didn't know how to object or handle himself professionally. The defendants attorney ran circles around him. My mother lost her case because she relied on Ali Zia. I wouldn't recommend Ali to my worst enemy. Ali Zia CANNOT BE TRUSTED. He doesn't understand the meaning of client confidentially and will share personal and confidential information if you don't pay him on time and will quit without notice. Ali has very little experience outside of being a paper pusher at the District Attorney's office. Ali is not even a certified family law specialist yet he practices family law. He may have only 2-3 years of real court room experience which is not much. Again, I wouldn't recommend Ali to my worst enemy.

Ali was great. Always available to chat about my case, never made me feel stupid for questions I asked, and ended up saving me significant fines and community service. I couldn't have asked for a better criminal attorney.

Very very poor representation. He failed to defend my case and protect me from an ongoing abuser. He has little to no experience outside of working for the District Attorney's office. Maybe 1-2 years experience at most. Will deal with this matter early next year. Not recommended!
