How many people can say that they got to sit at Comedy Central Comedy Club to be an audience member in what other people paid to see AS A FORM OF COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR CRIMINAL CHARGES??? Umm… I really feel like I am the only one who can confidently say that is what happened to me about a decade ago when I hired Jonathan Kissel to represent me whereas before he opened his mouth, the judge was about to throw me in JAIL!! I never forgot about what a great lawyer he was and how much juice he has with Van Nuys, San Fernando, and Burbank courthouses… So it’s about a decade later and I asked him to help my best friend who is wrongfully convicted (but not sentenced) of much more serious criminal charges than I previously had. I do have the confidence to believe that Kissel & his team will be able to bring my bestie back home because my friend doesn’t belong where he is!

I have retained Jonathan and his firm twice over the last few years to represent family members in matters that could have had serious consequences. On both matters, Jonathan came through for us. He gets the job done and has a great reputation with the court, which in return translate to favorable decisions from the court.

I was being wrongfully accused and charged with two counts of misdemeanor spousal abuse - so that my husband could avoid paying me child support, spousal support, etc and gain monetarily from me. Not only did Jonathan take the time to listen to all the intricacies of my sick husband's plan and mental health issues, he he also made me no promises because of the severity of a DV charge. He walked into the court room confident and knew everyone there! Prior to my sentencing date he spoke with the city attorney and provided her with evidence of my husband's history of abuse against me and not only did he get my charge reduced - he got my case dismissed!! Had it not been for Jonathan Kissel my criminal case would never have been dismissed. His 35+ years of being an attorney in the SFV and knowing everyone will help you. And, he's an absolute pleasure to work with. I owe him my life!

Johnathan Kissel and Peter Korne had got me off of two other criminal cases. 2009 I was charged with home invasion attempted murder. The charges carries a life sentence. Peter had gotten me an amazing deal and while yes I had to go to prison I only did two years, Peter and Jonathan genuinely felt bad as due to circumstances a better deal wasn't struck however considering most people who get these charges have to take average deals of 10 years plus I'd say they got me a terrific deal. Anyway I've moved on from being an idiot and learned from my mistakes. They generally don't respond if nothing in your case is going on. Only when things are going on. If you don't hear from them that's always a good sign.

Regardless of how many good ratings this professional expertise lawyer gets on this website, he's known to be one of the best! He already has a good reputable credibility within the WHOLE San Fernando Valley courts. He is well liked, respected, professional, and honest. I was allegedly arrested for: " intent to sell marijuana" Cops illegally searched my vehicle without my consent... cops will be cops right? What cops found was 2 scales, (one broken) an ounce of weed and another container consumed with "weed trim" and took my "unlocked phone" for evidence. Jonathan kissel made an amazing effort and did not make any promises but believed he would get my case dismissed. In fact he did! For what I knew the cops did illegally, was my way out to win the case. The way he went about that was incredible. I Did not have to show up for court neither did he, all he had to do was call the clerk and took care of it just like that. Secondly, I never showed up for court AT ALL. Next conversation I had over the phone with him after my first court hearing was that my case was being dismissed. The facts speak for itself. Hire him, the money is worth the representation

Jonathan Kissel is one of the best attorneys in the whole wide world! This man has a gift and was worth every single penny of his fee! The entire ordeal is over with best results! From start to finish, I felt so relieved I had hired him. He truly cares about his client and it shows. The entire staff is amazing! thank you a million times over Jonathan Kissel and staff!

never kept me informed !never considered my side of story ,never came up with defense ,dumped my case told me to plead guilty cause it was a good deal ?even though there was no probable cause and no search warrant should of been a motion to suppress evidence and never presented! truck ass lawyer doesnt deserve the rights to defend anybody!! never reviewed my case and took my money ! and off to jail !thank you mr .kissel for the utmost consideration!!
