Bankruptcy is scary. I remember spending a year or more researching and interviewing different lawyers because I wasn't going to jump into such a scary realm without the right support or parachute. Several years ago I was selling my Mother's condo after she went to assisted living. I purchased it for her directly from the owner who "held the paper" on it. When it came time to close she added $6000 to the amount of my balance with no explanation and no back up paperwork. I felt helpless to remedy the dispute. Ali Nader took my phone call and in 10 to 15 minutes helped me resolve the issue. He said, "Let's just talk for a minute instead of you having to come in the office and see if we can clear a path". I felt informed, comforted and had the tools to move forward and close the deal. He is a wonderful man and I highly recommend him. In fact, I just recommended him to a friend.

My wife and I with Mr. Ali Nader of: "Nader & Berneman" regarding a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy a little over 5 years ago. We will never forget that day. I can say honestly, I walked into his office with shaky legs, my wife is the stronger one, even she was very worried! The IRS had just sent a letter to the Human Resources of the company I work with ordering the garnishment of my wages. plus of course, all the threatening phone calls and letters from other creditors keeping us up at nights. Ali, walked around his desk and sat between my wife and I reading the garnishment letter with us and explained the entire situation. From the beginning, he made it a point for us to understand all the rights we had under the umbrella of the Chapter 13 he was going to file for us. He told us that he will stop the garnishments, which he did and explained the difference between "Secured" AND "Unsecured" amounts of monies owed to the IRS. At the time, I was having a hard time comprehending all this or even believing them! Our case was just recently discharged and EVERYTHING Ali said he would get dismissed for us, he did. Ali never made empty promises, always took our calls and met with us SEVERAL times thru the length of our case. Mr. Nader, God bless you. The entire staff at Nader & Berneman went above and beyond to answer my MANY questions and to me, that says a lot about them. I had a complicated and unusual (in my opinion) situation that required them to put their heads together and figure out a plan for me, which they did. I am grateful that they were able to put my mind at ease, albeit it wasn't easy as situations arose that were not your usual debtor/creditor issues. In the end, my bankruptcy was discharged in less than 6 months time, and this was during COVID!
