Referred here because I had an issue with an employer that was legit. The first thing I was asked by the secretary was how much money I made and was it salary or hourly. I was never able to speak to an actual attorney, not even for 5 minutes. The secretary took a few notes and called me back 15 minutes later saying they weren’t able to assist me. I understand every case is not for every firm but this just felt rushed and the questions the secretary asked me felt filtered in a different way. My issue was purely employment related and again, legit. Like a super illegal situation. I read reviews of the firm from people who were assisted with less severe issues. Just felt uncomfortable and I’m wondering if it was because my employer is a large international organization or because I didn’t make six figures. Still not quite sure because again, I never spoke to an attorney, but I’m sure I’ll find an attorney to assist. Good luck and I hope you guys get the help you need. It just didn’t work out for me.
