I had the unfortunate experience of working with Richard on a legal matter, and it was an absolute nightmare. From the beginning, it was clear that they were more interested in collecting their fee than actually providing competent legal representation. They were consistently unresponsive, unprepared, and lacked any semblance of professionalism. Not only did they fail to meet deadlines and provide accurate advice, but they also demonstrated a shocking lack of knowledge of the law. In the end, their incompetence cost me time, money, and a favorable outcome in my case. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this attorney unless you enjoy throwing your money down the drain.

Richard Taub did an amazing job for me on a Ventura County DUI. Ventura County is known for throwing the book at First Time DUI offenders like me. I was involved in an accident and I blew over .15 which was two enchantments. The DA wanted me to do 5 days in Jail as well as all fines, Probation, lengthy alcohol school, Community Service etc. Richard was able to reach a plea deal in which I was given time served for the 15 hours I spent in Jail and a reduction of my time for the alcohol school. In addition, zero Community Service work and the fines were marginal. His price was more than fair and he returned all of my retainer that was not used. Richard is a top notch Criminal Defense attorney that has the respect of the DA's which really helped me get a very favorable pea. I could not be happier with my result.

Mr. Taub is a criminal defense expert. He really knew how to follow up with every possible issue in my case. He knew most of the law affecting my case intuitively and was able to quickly reserach anything he didn't know offhand. I have hired several lawyers in the past and I have never seen a lawyer that was so good at what he does, that communicated constantly with me, was polite to me, and knew when to attack or growl and the other side. I now have an appreciation for what lawyers do and it isn't easy. However, I can appreciate that Mr. Taub has all of the qualities that anyone would want in a lawyer. Hire this one!
