Faced with the shock of a divorce after a 25+ year marriage, I had to quickly secure legal counsel. Jeremy Bernstein was consistently mentioned as one of the best, and it was easy to find information validating his vast experience and legal knowledge. What I soon learned was that Jeremy is also personable, compassionate, honest and trustworthy. He was very responsive and resourceful, and guided me through the difficult unraveling of long-term investments and assets. Jeremy has a direct yet calming approach to dealing with the inherent challenges and disagreements in a divorce. I understand why friends consistently provided his name, and now I am happy to unequivocally recommend Jeremy!

Jeremy came highly recommended to me from multiple people that he would be a fighter for me and my case. He was the only attorney I consulted and was impressed with him and hired him. Jeremy was friendly and understanding of my situation, which at times he had to navigate some complexities. Also, Jeremy's staff and paralegals were always helpful, kind and understanding. I consulted with him. I found him condescending, arrogant and rude. I informed him that I would never hire help that is rude. There is never an excuse, in my book, to be rude.

I hired Mr. Bernstein to represent me in my child custody case. I foolishly started out Pro se and it was a disaster. He immediately got the case under control and eliminated all the drama the other side was creating ( and believe me, there was quite a bit of drama ). The results of what was a quite complex case, were far better than I would have ever hoped for. I was honestly pleasantly shocked by the final decision. I can now look back on his representation and the results he got for me, as my case was in 2010. I remember being anxious about hiring him because he is very expensive but that is an investment in protecting my child's best interests that I have never ever regretted. He commands respect from other attorneys, the Judge and evaluators who may be called into your case and he communicated with me promptly, thoroughly and with compassion. 5 stars is not enough!
