This firm damage a process that basic information would have spared us a great deal of grief and loss. They will attempt to use common defenses when responding to my review like "we cannot confirm or deny this person did business with us!" Shall I include a photo of the receipt showing I did in this post? To ask me to even consider I should have paid you a few thousand dollars more feeding nothing more than a hard denial because it would reinforce the reason 214(b) exists is insane! I spent $200 on their useless consultation, but it costs us far more as a consequence to having it. Zach and Jennifer did nothing to forewarn, or discuss, the limits of a B1 visa filed as a combination B1/B2 visa. We should have been immediately consulted about Section 214(b) of the US Immigration Act. Stating no retainer was confirmed to hire them is a ridiculous argument that holds no relevance. If I did, I would be deep in a loss of funding and greater material and argument that does only but REINFORCE the denial of a B1/B2 visa due to Section 214(b) under their paid guidance. I have spoken to numerous lawyers, including a 30 year veteran who worked for Homeland Security and was a prosecutor for 20 years, and there is no excuse for the poor consultation provided that did not immediately point out any flaw in any of our assessment that a B1/B2 visa would remotely accomplish our interest of a near future visitation to this country by my friends (let alone anything that should have even been filed for or pursued at all, ever). The narrative presented to Zach and Jennifer should have immediately rendered acknowledgement of how Section 214(b) is the main purpose and reason when it comes to an interview with a consulate officer for a non-immigrant visa and our narrative did not fit but to deny us, not support us. None of this was presented or discussed. In fact they fed that further advancement of the narrative would be enhanced with a $2000 minimum retainer to create even more perfection of such material to reinforce what is now a denial that has caused great determinant to my friends coming into this country anytime soon (years at that). When you are denied a visa, it remains on your record and various other experts have stated that the circumstances and outcome for my friends could have been easily avoided if Zach and Jennifer provided competent consultation and required only one hour of time to discuss a rather uncomplicated truth about non-immigrant visas, especially a B1/B2. The outcome was an embarrassing and costly trip by my friends to the US Consulate in their country, and a mess of funds and headache now spent in this process that did not need to end with a denial. We were not adequately prepared in our consultation with this law firm, and I see no reason that this basic 214(b) information should not have been made very obvious in one mere hour (and their peers agree). Only greed can posture that it required any more than that as confirmed by multiple lawyers I have talked to since. As usual in today's business landscape, businesses will deflect any responsibility and accountability they should have to provide reputable services, and they failed at doing so. In speaking with the head partner, I was addressed in an authoritative manner, offering no apology for the outcome but pure defense. The section (2014(b)) is obvious detail a legal expert should keep in the forefront of their mind to discuss with us, especially when given an introduction email stating what we intended to accomplish in our meeting with them and why we were meeting. Zach, their "business expert," stated that lawyers are not typically involved in non-immigrant visa issues. I was phoned the next day after talking to Mr. Joseph, and nobody even bothered to leave a message as of to the purpose of their call. Bad form! There were three of us your customers in that meeting and we were all defeated by a process they you had every opportunity in one hour to reinforce required a different approach than assumed by us to take, and you did nothing to do so.

Our journey to become a permanent residents has been a very stressful one, but after we started to work with Jennifer Howard and Lindsey Lovgren, everything was much simple, they laid everything out for us clearly, and helped us every step of the way. Very straight forward and Luke was wonderful to work with! Communication was effortless and clear. Some of the law firms software tools however need to be updated and thought out more clearly OTHER than that it was a very painless and trouble free process!
