For a little background, I have had the case out of hell. My ex wife has been keeping my son from me for two years. It has been nothing less than a nightmare dealing with the court system. Finally I got to a place financially, where I could get legal counsel. So after a google search, Marble Law came in the picture. Eric Sims was assigned to me from Marble. So I paid $1,100.00 (I know.) to have this paperwork filed and the message conveyed to the court. All I needed was some paperwork filed to enforce custody orders, and to properly explain my situation to the courts. It was unbelievably hard getting in touch with Eric Sims, the attorney assigned to me. He called me for the initial consultation and I thought I was in good hands. A week goes by and I find myself reminding him I needed help. Another week goes by without a whisper. I called him again and he had no clue what he was supposed to do. After making contact several times already and repeating my story 3 times verbatim, he was disgustingly rude and grossly unprofessional. Blew me off since it’s only pocket change to him, what was said to my wife and I while we had him on speak talking to our family. Fast forward to this review. I called Marble for a refund immediately. Only to be given reason after reason why I cannot get a refund. Keep in mind, no service was ever provided and nothing was ever filed. No court was ever contacted and no effort made in any form. And the lawyer, Eric Sims forgot what he was supposed to do. They charged me $650.00 for “efforts,” made on their side. And when I asked for a written invoice to show dates, times and explanations as to what I was billed for. They refuse. They claim, Eric Sims, claims he worked on my case. My refund of $650.00 is denied and that’s fine as this point unfortunately. But I want to make sure Eric Sims and Marble Law are reconsidered for hire is you ever have the misfortune to “work,” with them. Go anywhere else but Eric Sims and Flatirons or Marble. I hope this review finds others well.

Eric is my hero! My daughter’s sister’s mom was represented in a permanent restraining order case against our daughters’ dad. He did his due diligence to understand the situation, and called us all individually to discuss our testimonies and the contents of our statements. He is professional, kind, and knowledgeable about the law. I wasn’t present for the entirety of the hearing, but, my daughter’s sister’s mom won! After 10 years abuse, Eric was able to solidify the permanent protection order against this guy. This is the start of a new chapter in her life, because his abuse was so difficult to “prove”. I am so incredibly grateful for his skill and expertise! I know my daughter’s sister’s mom will be using him for family law matters in Colorado as well. No words to describe this amazing lawyer AND amazing person!

Eric represented me in a traffic related issue. He did an amazing job. I ended up with no points added to my license and no other adverse outcomes. He was my first choice and a great choice! I will forever be grateful for his assistance in my time of need.

Eric Sims proved to the court that our Granddaughter has been a part of our lives since the day she was born. And that we are an important part of that child's life. We lost her mom to cancer 4 years ago and last year our Gdaughters father remarried a narcissistic woman with much baggage. She stopped all visitation with our now 10 year old Gdaughter not just with us but everyone who is related or friends with our deceased daughter. We just enjoyed our first weekend visit with our Gdaughter. Thank you so much Eric, You Rock!

I found myself in a bit of a predicament requiring the services of a criminal defense attorney. On the recommendation of close friend of mine who was a former colleague of Mr. Sims, we met for a consultation. Right away I could tell he was professional and knew what he was doing. This put me at ease with my whole situation. I was not as confident with previous attorneys I had used in the past. In the middle of that case, I happened to pick up another. As soon as he found out he met with me at the jail and we soon saw the judge together. If you've ever been in a similar situation you know the uneasy feeling and uncertainty of it all, but having Eric there with me on the stand was very relieving, knowing he was on my side and knowing I was in good hands. Thankfully the second case was dropped and the first was then settled with favorable results thanks to Eric's expertise. All in all I would highly recommend Eric Sims Jr to anyone in need of an attorney and would not hesitate to hire him again if I ever find myself in need of his services. Mr. Sims helped me work through a difficult custody issue and regain visits with my child., I hired Mr. Sims to help me enforce my parenting plan. He expertly questioned my former spouse, proving contempt of court. He also examined the bigger picture of changing the parenting plan, and requested key items from the judge that will help ensure that I have more parenting time with my child in the future.

Eric Sims, Jr is an excellent litigator. He brings the facts to the hearing and I had complete faith in him when he represented me regarding the Sex Offense that I was charged with. Although this was a sting operation that is run out of Gilpin County Colorado on adult web sites, Mr. Sims was able to get results that surprised both the DA and the probation office. If the need ever arises his office and his services will be my first and only phone call. He is efficient and does not waste the clients time. I would recommend him to anyone at any time. He is not only successful, but also respected by the individuals within the legal system. A+ all day long!

Eric helped me through a very difficult time in my life when I felt like I had more than royally screwed up. With his guidance, knowledge and attention to detail we made it through and my case was eventually dismissed. I not only learned a great deal through this process, but I never doubted Eric.
