My experience with Sara was wonderful and supportive. I found her to be very trustworthy as she provided both precise attention to detail and structure to the whole process as she supported me with legal documents for a divorce. She gave a clear and concise roadmap, while not having a strong agenda. She was clearly working in my best interest and listened to my needs and desires. She also brought amazing presence, kindness, and wisdom. Highly recommend working with her!

I hired Sara for unbundled services related to divorce. I had no idea what I was supposed to do or where to start, but Sara walked me through everything very patiently and compassionately. Sara reviewed all of the related divorce documents carefully and detailed out specific issues or questions for my consideration. She was very responsive and thorough, and worth every penny!

I worked with Sara to draft a postnuptial agreement. She was very thorough in her approach and made sure I understood the nuances. Her responses to my questions were detailed and informative.
My wife and I took our time (months) to talk through the process and ended up deciding we don't need a postnup. Through this, Sara remained patient and thoughtful. I highly recommend her!

Sara helped me navigate through the trials and tribulations of divorce. She is very competent, detail oriented and bright and I always felt she negotiated in my best interest. Having representation who was both very good at her profession and at the same time compassionate, was a great combination.

Sara was my attorney for a post-nuptial agreement. While thankfully not the stress of a divorce, it was still an emotional experience to have to think in ways of the future that I didn't want to consider. She was extremely sensitive to this while continuing to keep the ball rolling. There was great attention to detail and a clear professional pride that I appreciated. I walked away with a sense of closure knowing all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed, while also still feeling human.

At the start of the divorce process, I was overwhelmed and unsure what was going to happen. Sara was very supportive from our first meeting and helped me digest in manageable pieces what I was up against. Her balance of a caring and pragmatic approach was a perfect blend for what I needed, which was someone who cared about and understood the impact on my family but could walk me through the necessary steps very thoughtfully and professionally. Many times, decisions to be made posed more or less favorable outcomes, which Sara was very good at helping me understand. She knew when major milestones were close and worth pushing to complete, as well as when to leave more space to talk things over.

Going through a divorce is incredibly taxing and potentially traumatizing for all parties involved. I initially resisted hiring an attorney at first because I was afraid they'd just make things worse, but I also knew I needed legal advice. Sara helped me figure out how to get the best possible outcome for me and my family with as little emotional collateral damage as possible. She is an excellent lawyer and I'd highly recommend her. Her work was thorough, thoughtful and totally worth every penny. I was relieved to discover that Sara is a problem-solving lawyer, not a war-waging lawyer. Thanks for your work, Sara, you really helped me when I was in a tough spot.

Sara billed me for ridiculous administrative things that should be included in her $300/hr fee. She filed for my divorce in the wrong county which set me back an entire month. I questioned if she ever actually served my ex-husband with proper divorce papers because when I asked her for a copy of the Return of Service (after I fired her), the dates on the Return of Service didn't make sense to my case. I reported her to the Ethics Committee in Colorado, but they said I'd have to hire a lawyer for legal malpractice to prove that she did not properly serve my ex with papers. I can't afford anymore lawyer fees because her fees came to total more than our marital assets were worth. So now I am warning people so that they don't make the same mistake I did. They made the most stressful time in my life even more stressful. I fired them before the closing of my case and was SO happy with the attorney I hired after firing Sara and Jim Keane.
