Although the circumstances of my needing a divorce attorney were one of the hardest and most unexpected life changes I have ever gone through, I feel truly lucky and beyond grateful to have found Todd and his firm. From my first phone call where I had to hang up because I was crying so hard and couldn't speak, everyone from the receptionist to all of the legal assistants, paralegals, and Todd made me feel like they legitimately cared about me as a person. They lifted me on the days when I didn't think I could make it through, gently guided me to make decisions that were best for me, and allowed me to see that I am stronger than I ever knew possible. At the darkest time in my life, Todd and his entire team made the process as easy as possible for me. He was kind, he listened and went out of his way to even suggest a counselor for me to see when he could see I was struggling. When there was a time conflict with one of my appointments with him, he even met with me on a weekend. The communication was always prompt, and warm, and I felt completely taken care of throughout the process. Todd's kindness is matched equally by his knowledge of the law and his tenacity, and that is also reflected by every single person I dealt with.

My lawyer had retired and I needed a lawyer quickly and that was combined with little in the way of disposable income. I was asked by my former husband via his lawyer to let him know what his interest was in my house. I came to Stahly, LLC with a copy of my notarized Quit Claim Deed and I thought that would be that. Instead, at the request of their junior associate I was asked to provide 20 years of utility bills, bank statements, tax statements and I never understood why. At the end of the process I owed my former husband $181,000, I lost my house and the junior lawyer was either terminated or left the firm the day after I had to sign the settlement. Todd and Nicole Stahly would not tell me the reason for their associate's departure who is now working for a Cannabis organization. Hum... There is NO ONE that I have spoken with during the negotiations or since who doesn't think w/a bona fide Quick Claim Deed I needed to go through any of the hoops they required especially with a very expensive and unfair outcome for me. Perhaps I needed a real estate lawyer!

I worked with Brittany and Nicole. Both were professional and very easy to work with. I felt like my interests were being protected -- and Brittany gave me the occasional nudge to keep me on track. Great work Team!

Thank God, I shut down the conversation after talking to the intake person who ran her sentences together, was irritated to repeat questions, and told me the "lawyers would not talk to me, if I did not answer every question". Then I looked at the reviews... what a joke these firm is

I do not recommend hiring Stahly ~ they did not do right by me. Todd claimed he was qualified to handle my divorce and had a good understanding of trusts. After a few months he and others in the firm tried to pressure me into retaining and paying for an additional attorney because they did not understand trusts. My situation escalated and I contacted them to proceed with filing for divorce at which point they avoided my phone calls for days and then Friday evening after business hours I received an email stating that they would not work on my case because I hadn't agreed to hire another attorney to assist them. Yes, they kept most of my retainer. In the end, I was fortunate enough to have a good, honest attorney who was incredible and handled my divorce for a much more reasonable price. There are many good attorneys out there. Todd Stahly and Stahly law are not one of them.

Stahly LLC, Todd Stahly are one of the Good Guys! Excellent guidance, friendly service and always budget conscious in my case. Sensible solutions based divorce team, pulls the emotion out of the equation and finds answers and timely results. Todd & team cared for me, my children and our whole well-being. Not only were they my team on the initial divorce case, Todd and team helped me yrs down the road on the same case without missing a beat. I appreciate to this day their professionalism & friendship!

If you choose divorce, start believing your divorce is not going to be like others – or whatever descriptions you find from google searches. Also start believing that this will be one of the most stressful events for you – and you don’t know who your spouse can be under that same stress. That’s what I found out, and I am really lucky I chose to work with Brittany at Stahly LLC. Maybe you’ll get surprised, and it won’t happen, but your spouse can act out of anger or disregard for the process – and the court - and make coming to an equitable agreement seem almost impossible. So, it takes grit. And something you might not think about until later: An attorney’s love of the law, full application of its remedies and true honoring of the court. That’s Brittany. I trusted her, took her advice and mostly just shut up and let her do the work. You’ll spend time communicating with her team; there’s many things to get done. Nichole the paralegal and Sherri and Dakota the legal assistants. They were very accessible and explained everything. A lot of my questions I didn’t need to ask Brittany. I could quickly reach out and get the answers from them. They knew me; that is, I felt known by them. I hope I never have to have a divorce again, but if I did, I hope Brittany of Stahly LLC is available. I would recommend her to friends, family and colleagues.

Brittany and their team were fantastic of preparing and walking me through the entire process in a difficult time. The whole team was so courteous and helpful!

Critical: Quality, Value Todd Stahly and his associate Brittany Frisbie were engaged to represent me in what should have been a conventional family court case for additional parenting time. During the 8 months of their engagement, I paid them $11,000 in billable time and expense. In exchange, the only substantive step they managed to advance my case was to file a motion for the appointment of a CFI. Stahly is a master at churning cases to maximize billable revenue for his firm without providing value to his clients case. I was advised by both Todd and Brittany to pursue discovery. The opposing party, who was per se, was able to easily deflect the motion, and Stahly and Co then advised me to dismiss the motion after I had spent thousands of dollars in fees. Subsequently, they billed me hundreds of dollars for a letter explaining an issue in my case that could have been addressed with me in a 10 minute phone call. They cited 'office policy' in this latter instance, which seems to be code for an excuse to maximize their fees without providing value to their clients. When I called to discuss my concerns with their billing and communication practices, neither Todd or Brittany had the integrity to pick up the phone and discuss my frustrations with their representation. These two grifters should be avoided unless you don't mind wasting your hard-earned money on mediocre attorneys.

The team at Stahly LLC is on point. The definitely have things organized and under control. Brittany is amazing to work with.
