I had the pleasure to work with Beth on a suit against a street painting company. The company was painting the local county roads by putting down white paint to show the edge of the road. As part of the painting process they spray a film of minute round plastic balls which are used for refrection. The painting truck was painting around a corner and had put the paint at the edge of the road but left a strip of glass balls out into the middle of the intersection. I was riding on a bicycle when I came around the corner, hit the glass balls which caused me to lose traction, crash to the street and broke my clavicle. I contacted the painting company who put me in contact with their insurance company. I sent the insurance company a letter saying all I wanted was for the insurance company to cover my lost wages and medical expenses. I received a curt letter in return saying that the painting company was not at fault and insinuated that it was my bad bike handling that caused the crash. It was about that time I had sent a sent a notice out to my cycling club notifying them about the hazard and to be extremely careful. I received an e-mail back from another member of the club who had been riding that same day and had crashed on exactly the same corner due to the glass beads. At that point I decided to sue and was given Beth's name by a friend who recommended her as an attorney. Beth was able to build a case against the painting company and was able to prove that they were at fault. She was able to produce photographic evidence showing that the company had continued to have bad practices with dispensing these plastic beads and was able to produce an affidavit from the other cyclist witnessing that he had crashed on the same corner specifically due to the hazardous glass beads. The insurance company at that point decided to settle and I was able to receive just compensation for my medical expenses and lost wages.

Beth is a diamond in today's ruff. Beth's skill, ethics and honesty sliced through the legal realm and brought a quick and successful resolution to my case.
