So you should know that Chris was my lawyer first, but he has since become a close friend. Anyway here is my story: I was injured in an industrial accident that changed my life. One minute I'm water skiing, hunting and fishing on the weekends and working for the man. The next thing I know I'm being airlifted to the burn unit. My whole life changed in an instant when I got torched at work -- literally torched. My wife was at home and at the hospital worried sick and wondering if I would survive. After I finally stabilized, she had no idea how to pay the bills. The lawyers she hired were telling us all the reasons we had no case while I'm mostly unconscious and unable to help. This went on for weeks until we found Chris Parks. The first time I spoke face to face with him Chris told me, "We're married and we are going to win this together." I still chuckle every time I think of him saying that, we're married! But, he really meant it and I kid you not, in six months everything had changed. We had a court date, the other side was asking to have a settlement conference and my wife and I had hope. Then he really poured it on. Chris refused to allow a continuance of our case, he took one deposition after another, but he did agree to a settlement conference. At the conference he showed a video he had professionally made to a room full of suits and insurance adjusters. It was so disturbing that one seasoned adjuster ran out of the room and never returned. We settled our case that day, for more than I had dared to dream of, but more importantly we did it as a structured settlement, which meant I got a stream of income for life that increases every year. Chris even split that up between two of the biggest insurance companies in the country, just in case one went under! There are a hundred other details of how Chris handled my case that I have told people about, but only one is important for this review. Chris is a fantastic lawyer. He's not afraid of any company or any defendant and he always does exactly what he says he will do.
