I spent a good amount of time explaining to Eric almost my entire life history. He seemed to understand why I am in the position that I am and genuinely cared. I have been extremely unstable mentally and lacking any kind of sleep. I reached out for post conviction assistance and after discussing all the details of the case and my background, Eric offered to assist me and that meant me pulling my transcript. I did so and emailed him and even called to let him know it was sent to him. No assistance until I finally called the office phone weeks later! Don’t waste your time! Just like all the other lawyers- Lies, manipulates, and is all about the Benjamin’s$!

We had a serious and challenging legal issue for our minor child this year and were recommended to Jennifer Zimmerman by a trusted lawyer. She went above and beyond at every step of the process which included lightning fast responses as our issue was time sensitive. She was clear and direct and provided excellent counsel to us and directly to our teen on the process and recommendations. I could not have asked for anything more. We felt taken care of, supported and knew what to expect through her clear communication and prep.

OMG, I see Janene McCabe endorsed Eric. I had to replace Eric with Ms. McCabe less than 24 hours prior to a hearing because he abandoned me. She knows he abandoned me and now endorses him? There is a rule, and ethical responsibility that if one attorney knows another has behaved unethically they have a RESPONSIBILITY to report them, not endorse them on AVVO. I guess it says more about the integrity of these two attorneys than anything. This guy had a very simple case and he could have messed it up more. He lied to his client. Withheld important information from his client. Didn't seem to know basic law. He offered to accept service for something he can't accept service for. Had the client running around to scan a document that was already in the courts system, already visible to him. He seems to make a habit of sending other attorneys to court in his place WITHOUT discussing this with the client. He said "we're going to get you a good defense" then disappeared. The reviews on AVVO are written by colleges or friends, not clients. Real people tend to be more specific, these reviews are general. I wonder if attorneys like this even care how much damage they cause. The outcome would have been completely different if he'd even attempted to do his job. Past public defender. Public defenders plea bargain, that is about it. "Defender" is kind of a misnomer.

Listen no one ever wants to hire an attorney but let me say Sydney is amazing! No one in my family had ever been in any sort of legal situation previously. We were not sure what to do.
