We were very concerned as we had not received any correspondence from the IRS for both the 2020, 2021 returns...Until we received a notice to say we owed an 11K penalty for our 2020 taxes. "What a stressor!" We were told to contact Reliance Tax Group who are very knowledgeable and our best bet to help our situation. I called Jason a.s.a.p. and wanted to schedule a meet-up; But after hearing our story he assured me they could help us and we could do much of this over the phone and via a secure portal. Both Jason and Elizabeth were very informative and supportive, accessible and encouraging with all steps of the "take action process" to get us cleared of the huge penalty, and correct/amend two years tax returns within the prescribed deadlines. [We are in the sent amends for resolution stage..And waiting for the final IRS o.k.] However I can't express our gratitude we are so relieved close to conclusion. I would recommend Reliance Tax Group to all who are in an IRS pickle and unsure what to do next.

It was great working with Michael on my divorce. He kept me up to date on all the paperwork that I needed to do and followed up on anything I didn't get back to him on. Overall it was a much lower stress ordeal due to his help.

Michael came into the middle of a highly contentious ongoing case, and I had seen the inside of a courtroom on too many occasions. He was able to negotiate so well with the opposing attorney that we were saved from having to take any court action at all. We have so far been able to resolve the issue in the best interest of our daughter. I have every confidence, though, that if it is necessary to go to court again, Michael will work tirelessly to get the best possible outcome. He has been extremely fair with his pricing, and has made himself available even when out of town on vacation. I appreciate Michael’s dedication and integrity so much! Update 12/5/22- My case has been resolved without having to see the inside of a courtroom, and absolutely serves the best interest of my child. That is all thanks to Michael’s level-headed and forward-thinking negotiations with the opposing attorney, as well as his dedication to a solution. I can’t say enough about his genuine compassion in what is usually a tough and emotional situation. Update 3/6/23 I felt the need to update this review because, yet again, the help that Michael gave was immeasurable. I had to call him about a child support matter, and his common sense direction saved me a ton of grief, and again set this case in the right direction. I’m continually amazed at Michael’s responsiveness, as well as his genuine integrity. I see a lot of other reviews that mention this, so I know that he delivers this consistently to his clients. I have to say that he has single-handedly restored my faith in the legal/family law profession!
