I engaged Matt to handle a legal matter for me in Douglas County Court and am glad that I did. Throughout the matter, Matt and his team were straightforward, prompt to respond (especially via email) in an uncomplicated manner, and sensitive to the legal fees I was incurring. You can’t ask for much more in an attorney.

Matt Patton is amazing. He has your best interest at hand, and is always available even if you just need to talk through something. He made my difficult divorce situation, less stressful on me. I do not know where to start... when I first hired Matt, I was a deer in the headlights. I had no idea what was going to happen throughout my custody case. We hired Mr. Patton to represent my son in a civil restraining order case. Mr. Patton reviewed the situation thoroughly and was able to set expectations with my son. I recently hired Matt for a contempt issue, and he handled everything very professionally. He answered my questions thoroughly, but also managed to explain things so I understood without ever talking down to me. In the courtroom, he helped me feel confident and comfortable. He was respectful to the opposing party, and helped me understand how I was supposed to act in the court room even though it was an emotional situation. The opposing party was asking for jail time for me, and fortunately Matt's knowledge of the law and effective arguments in my defense prevented that. I don't doubt that without him there, things would have gone very poorly for me. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
