Micheal Kossen is definitely the best in the business! Thank god I found Michael and his team . He was a miracle . My first attorney was awful - I was looking at a horrible charge with a 40 day sentence and 18 mo probation .. After noticing his skills in court , I took upon myself to hire him based on his outstanding performance of having 2-3 dismissals that day. Michael got my charge dismissed before trial was needed . He’s a true rock star in the legal system . I was in the 18th district court of Douglas County . I am forever grateful for his service and dedication to his work . We hired Michael almost 4 years ago when my husband had an accident in Arapahoe County and was charged with careless driving. Michael was very patient (my husband had to conference me in during the consultation and brought our two young children) and he explained everything in terms that could be understood. I met Mr. Kossen at a very low point in my life. Looking at a third DUI conviction, I had very little hope that I could avert jail time, especially after learning about Colorado's mandatory minimums. A third offense would likely have prevented me from obtaining a license in a career that I spent a large part of the year studying for. However, Michael assured me that my case wasn't hopeless and mistakes had been made by the arresting officer. Thus, began an arduous 10 month process of mediation with the DA, but a satisfying deal was never reached and we decided to move forward with the motions hearing. Watching Mr. Kossen fight for me in front of the judge was something to behold. I knew that whatever the result was, my case was being managed in the best possible hands. I think everyone in the room was shocked when the judge dismissed my case on all counts, but I have to give credit where its due. Michael Kossen has been a blessing for me and my family. I no longer have any bars against my licensing and 11 months later, I am still sober and an active member in AA. My life isn't on hold anymore. I have my freedom. There isn't a price I can put on that, which makes this the best money I have ever spent. There aren't any guarantees that my result will be the same for someone else, but I can absolutely say that you are giving yourself the best possible chance with Michael. I am forever grateful!

Michael was the best in the darkest time in my life. He always had time to re-explain things I was not familiar with, as it was my first time. He was not affraid to have the hard conversations in a professional manner. His work and intellect is top notch, and he understands the system very well and what is realistic and what is not. My case had an unusasl twist and he knew how to take full advantage that this twist presented within the law. I could not have dreamed of a better outcome. He was always very up front about costs and was the cheapest initial fee from the 3 quotes I recived from well researched Denver based lawyers. If you have an issue in Douglas county I cannot recommend him more. Its impossible to express in words how much I appreciate Micheal for getting me my life back, and cannot recomend him enough.

When the Judge presiding over your court case tells you that your attorney did an awesome job, that says something! Michael handled my affairs with respect and professionalism. Michael was absolutely the most knowledgeable compassionate and honest Attorney I have ever met. My 21 yr old son was in Colorado for a couple of months and hooked up with the wrong crowd and he was arrested for something that would have ruined his future. He was a mess but Michael fought for him to go to a rehab instead of jail and a long probation period ,case has now been sealed and Michael was a form of support during the entire 2 year process. We all had to work together and we did. I live in a state 2000 miles away so after interviewing 4 attorneys over the phone before I found Michael Kossen I could tell he knew what he was talking about. When I met him I knew he had Heart . Michael Kossen is amazing at what he does. I got into a traffic accident in Douglas county and had a mandatory court summons. Unfortunately, the date was a day I couldn't drive to Castle Rock (I live almost four hours away). I hired Michael as my lawyer to represent me. He was so quick, friendly, and professional.
