Mike Cheroutes and his staff are very professional and well-prepared. I was pro-se for the beginning but could not handle the time and complexities to my case. I reached out to the office and their staff was what I needed to reduce time and stress. They were up to speed in a day and by the time we knew it, ready for trial in a week. We hired This firm to represent us in an diffucult child custody case, From the start we were told the difficulty of our case and moving a child across the country to custody of the mother. Mike Cheroutes was very tactical with his method and even though it took 18 months of litigation, he fought even when it seemed like our goal was unreachable. He is a very knowledgable in.family law and I think the best most honest attorney I ve ever dealt with. Persistence prevailed, and he and his staff are amazing. This Christmas finally we finally have peace in our hearts knowing that everyone is safe and awaiting Santas arrival , If you feel like your in a position of helplessness like we were , then call mikes office,. they will give it to you straight , unlike other attorney who just provide lip service , and don't accomplish the goal . I have had the pleasure of working with Elissa Roberts and Mike Cheroutes. Both attorneys are excellent, have a thorough knowledge of the law, and practice law with a impeccably good moral and ethical values. I have a very high conflict post decree divorce case, in regards to co-parenting issues. My children's well being is my entire focus, and I sleep well at night knowing that Elissa has my children's best interests at heart also. Elissa has maintained professionalism against the opposing counsel who is routinely dishonest and unethical. Elissa is often having to accommodate spur of the moment issues, and never ending motions, that my ex husband creates. She does an excellent job of thoroughly addressing all ongoing legal issues. Furthermore, I am very appreciative of how Elissa keeps me intimately involved with my case. My previous family law attorney was very difficult to reach and was not transparent. Elissa's transparency and willingness to explain things when I need it helps keep my stress level as low as possible. Over Christmas, my ex husband filed an emergency motion, and while Elissa was out of town Mike stepped in for the courtroom hearing. Mike did this voluntarily, despite the holiday, because he felt personally compelled to help defend me against a frivolous motion. Mike did an amazing job prepping for the hearing and legally persuading the judge to rule in my favor. I really can't express enough my gratitude for Mike's countless hours prepping, and his passion for us prevailing. In the middle of legal issues that have such high emotional stakes, it is so helpful and invaluable to have a law firm and lawyers that care about me and my family.

Due to the unexpected passing of a young family member, I found I needed legal services to help know what needed to be done since the deceased didn't have a will. Krista was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. Lacey, my first point of contact at the law office, was just the kind voice I needed to hear at such a raw and difficult time. I'm so thankful for this law office in helping me and my family work through the legal aspects of a situation such as this. I highly recommend Krista for probate/estate needs! It pains me that I cannot give this man 0 stars as Dane Torbenson neglected his responsibilities as an attorney. He made various empty promises and after a month of his work, (or lack thereof) we saw absolutely no results. He was not easy to get a hold of at all, started defending the opposing side and withdrew from our counsel just before his clients hip surgery. He was extremely unprofessional and completely unreliable.

Too expensive not guaranteed to win the case

Do not use this firm!!!! They will take your money and do absolutely nothing right. $5,000 and we just got a letter from our judge saying paperwork wasn't even filed! Which does not surprise me considering I had to constantly resend their paralegal EVERYTHING because she kept asking for everything twice because she's clearly unorganized! My fiancé had one court date for half a hour and that's it! So how in the world is $5,000 used when they literally did nothing? Stay away from these people! I will be filing a huge complaint. They are trying to dispute my review, saying I'm not their client and as I mentioned my FIANCÉ was their client.

All I heard about my entire life regarding divorce is "the attorneys" (in a condescending/negative way). I am here to say, I was so happy to be referred to her. Given the nature of divorce and the mess it creates emotionally and legally, she has all the abilities and character one would not only expect but need to get the job done. Not all attorneys are the same. She listens and performs. I am happy to and continue to recommend her with no reservation. Thank you Amanda for all your help.
