I first hired Laurie Joe (Formerly Hurst) in 2010 and have continued to use her over the last 9 years when needed! She is AMAZING!! I was completely in the dark regarding my divorce, my kids and my options. After meeting with her, I had a clear understanding of the court procedure, my options, and the correct way to move forward. She always takes the time to make sure to answer all my questions, be hopeful but honest with me and make sure I feel good about moving forward! She supported what I wanted/needed 100%. I feel completely confident with Laurie! I would highly recommend her. Thank you Laurie so much for your kind-heart, wisdom, and guidance over the years!

I hired Laurie to represent me on my child custody cases and through a neglect case that came up do to my ex-wife. Laurie was great the entire time, she continuously fought for my rights regardless of how difficult I was the entire time. She helped me to understand what my rights were and what I could do. I first hired her after I realized I wanted more time then I was given with my children. After helping me get through several months of court cases and mediation, I was able to obtain 50/50 custody of my daughters. Then maybe a year later, I received a phone call from child protective services that my oldest daughter had been neglected and had something bad happen to her. I chose to have Laurie represent me, despite her warnings, and I couldn't have been more happy with the results. I know have full custody of my daughters and can happily report that now 2 years later they still have not seen their mother who ran away, instead of owning up to her responsibilities. I highly recommend anyone that needs an attorney regardless of what the matter, divorce, child custody or neglect cases, should hire Laurie. She is patient and a great attorney, and someone that I will hire again if the need ever rises.

Rebecca was my saving grace in the most ridiculous divorce. Her candor is what sets her apart from all other lawyers. Rebecca and Alyssa kept me in the loop every step of the way. I was updated with emails every time there was contact with my ex's lawyers, and weekly billing updates. Alyssa was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had during the process. Rebecca was respectful of what I wanted, but she also fought for me on what was fair and didn't waste time on trivial issues. She was motivated to help me close out my case and I never felt like she was dragging it along unnecessarily. I really cannot recommend Rebecca and the Burnham Law Firm enough!

On recommendation, I hired Laurie Joe, formerly known as Laurie Hurst, as my family law attorney to file for divorce. It was complicated and difficult, but nothing was insurmountable for her. Laurie, took on our case short notice back in 2016. She did an amazing job with hearing out our concerns and giving us peace of mind. Even though it was short notice she didn't turn us down and even made time for us and made us feel like we were a priority. Our case spanned about 2 years and Laurie did an amazing job all those two years -- giving us suggestions, helping us stay motivated, and always making time to hear out our concerns when times got tough.
