Steven is by far one of the best attorneys in Colorado, especially when dealing with military clients. He has gone to battle for me twice now and I would recommend him to anyone needing an attorney whether it's in the military or the civilian world. Every time I walked into the courtroom with Steven he never ceased to amaze me. He is respected by the judges and anyone can tell that he is feared by the prosecution. It almost seemed like Steven knew exactly what the prosecution was thinking and was always one step ahead of them. His staff has always been timely when returning my phone calls and keeping me updated on my case. Most of all, he always had a strategy when we went to court. I was looking at some severe penalties and was very nervous of the outcome with both my career and personnel life. Needless to say, when we went to court it was not Steven's first "rodeo" and I could not be more pleased with the outcomes. His meticulousness and diligence was unprecedented in both my cases. Don't let the prosecution bully you into a corner and ruin your life. I can honestly say that if you want someone who is an expert in the law and is willing to fight uphill tooth and nail then Steven is the one you want by your side.

Steve is a great attorney. I was charged with a DUI, because the officer said that I was impaired because of a prescription I have taken for 6 years. Steve fought tirelessly, and, after 9 months and a trial, I was acquitted by the jury. The DA's office made lots of offers along the way, and I seriously considered taking a number of them, but everytime Steve said the same thing, we can beat this at trial, don't take it. Sure enough, he beat it at trial. There was no financial incentive for him to do that, he didn't charge me anymore to go to trial, and he could have told me to take an offer and I probably would have, but he didn't. I felt like he truly had my best interest at heart, which is something I don't think can be said about a lot of attorneys. I'm so grateful I found Steve. Thank You!!

Great Attorney, highly recommended

Steve did a great job on my case. No stone left unturned, and the result of my case was better than I ever expected. I made a mistake and I was charged with a DUI, from the first meeting, Steve was compassionate and friendly, every call was returned quickly and I had access to him, as opposed to a paralegal. I would recommend Steve, I have seen firsthand that he really cares about his clients and doesn't treat you like another case

I can't thank Steve enough. He got me through the worst point of my life when I was charged with a DUI, and I'm not sure I would have been able to get clean, and maintain my sobriety without him. He truly cared about me and spent a ton of time just finding me good counselors and eventually an in patient program. I've been sober for 9 months and have a long way to go, but he set me in the right direction. The actual charges ended up being deferred, which I don't think the judge liked because my BAC was high, but he went along with it. Steve is a truly great attorney.

I'm not really sure how Steve did what he did on my case. I was arrested for felony menacing, after what I thought was a huge misunderstanding. I met with two other attorneys in town. Both of them wanted to charge me an arm and a leg and told me how tough it would be to get dismissed, and how I should plan on going to trial. When I met with Steve he told me the good and the bad, in the end, he told me that he didn't think it would be difficult to get it the charges reduced to a misdemeanor instead of filed as a felony, and then we could deal with them in misdemeanor court. He charged me half of what the other two wanted, because as he said, it wouldn't be that tough. He did some work before my first court date and low and behold, the DA filed a misdemeanor instead of a felony. Three court dates later my case was dismissed. I can't thank Steve enough. Don't make the mistake of hiring anyone else.

Steve kept me informed throughout the entire case, he emailed me the reports, things he filed in court, there was complete transparency, I knew exactly what was going on all the time. I had never been charged with a crime and had no idea what to expect. I'm so glad that I hired Steve, he's a genuinely nice guy. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing, other than not get arrested to begin with.

I hired Steve to represent me on a DUI I got in Cripple Creek. The outcome was great, but what impressed me most was how he went out of his way to make sure I was fully informed. After my case was done and technically his services were over, I would call to ask questions about getting things done for probation. Steve would spend a half an hour or more walking me through everything. Class act all the way.

Highly recommended. I called Steve on a Saturday morning after being arrested Friday night for a DUI charge. Not only did he answer, but he came in to meet me that day. I had read all of his reviews and seen his resume on Avvo, but I felt like I shouldn't make a decision without meeting with other attorneys. That Monday and Tuesday I met with three other attorneys in town who were also highly rated, it was a no brainer. Steve was by far the most knowledgeable and the most creative in terms of my defense. When we went to court for the first time a Judge asked Steve a question about another attorney's case while that attorney was at the podium, I knew I had made the right decision. His fees were very reasonable and he offered me a payment plan. The results of my case exceeded my expectations, but I don't believe I would have gotten what I did without Steve's hard work. I would highly recommend you call him if you ever find yourself charged with a crime. I'm so glad I did.

My experience here exceeded my expectations. The outcome of my case was better than I could have ever imagined. While I hope I don't need an attorney again, if I did or if a family member or friend did, this is the only firm I would let them use.
