Great communication for the most part. That's about the best I can say. John didn't seem extremely knowledgeable about things, and my case was a unique one. Pretty cut and dry that there was some massive litigation issues and should be able to win this case easily. John kept trying to get me to take their plea deals and not fight for me. I stood up for myself and fought for myself in the background with everything. I got myself taken off of mandatory U.A's without John's help, and once we got to motions hearings, the night before John calls me saying we should take the plea and he doesn't have much to go on. I took my own initiative all night and wrote a 7 page defense with many cross referenced laws, past cases, and issues with the arrest. Once we arrived at motions, John had a 2 line defense typed up on his laptop. I almost fell over. This could be a VERY easy case to win with the proper fight and arguments, and all you have is 2 lines? I gave him my 7 page defense, which was solely used in the defense and I fought for myself while John did little to anything. The case was dismissed in it's entirely. The D.a. wanted it appealed and John had no fight in him. John drug his feet to get the record sealed and waited until last minute when it was too late and record was never sealed, allowing the D.A. to process appeals. I won with a different firm in appeals court 95%. JOHN Promised to represent me once appeals were done and see this through. Now that the appeals is over and we go back to court to finish this and have an extremely easy battle ahead of us, he refuses to represent me, and now wants Over Doubke what I originally laid him in the first place, to represent me for pre-trial hearing in which the entire case is more than likely all to be dismissed because there isn't much case left after appeals shows no probable cause, evidence to remain suppressed, and other charges dropped. Ridiculous and very dishonest and shows they are only after your money. Find someone honest who will fight for you AND HONOR THEIR WORD. Don't recommend Joyner law. You have a better chance researching and fighting for yourself.

Alex Berry was great! Took my case on very short notice and was prepared and professional from beginning to end. In short, my ex wife's boyfriend (career felon) had been physically assaulting my two daughters. I had a permanent restraining order against him and my daughters. The next day I received a restraining order from him (retaliatory). Alex took him to task in cross examination. Even with a very challenging and difficult "judge" Alex used excellent tact, wit, diplomacy, and common sense to get the case thrown out. Dismissed with prejudice. I recommend retaining Alex Berry. You never know what kind of "judge" you may get these days. It's worth the money trust me. Thanks again Alex!

Beware of this law firm! My first attorney left the firm without warning a week after filing. I wish I had followed him! I was then assigned Kevin Stoner. He was absolutely worthless. He did not listen to anything I had to say. Nor did he address any of my concerns. There was very little helpful advice given, even after I was assaulted three times by my now ex-wife. In the end, the divorce was finalized, even though the type of "advocacy" and pass-through legal work to the tune of about $30000. Highly recommend going elsewhere for your legal needs!

I was able to get hold of Steven immediately! He always listened to me ramble on and still was able to take notes for our case! He seems to care about me and my children very much!
