Terrible experience with this law group. They retain my money for the case that they are representing me in. From that money they charge for every minute that they manage my case. That is all good and fine. Pretty standard. The problem we had was that we had to make several trips to the office because they continued to misplace the paper work that we had already dropped off previously. The bigger issue comes from them charging me for their own mistakes. Charged me per message, per talk, and per visit. Multiple messaging asking me for documents that I had already dropped off then charging me for those repeated visits and messages I had to make. After talking with the head of the group they were apologetic to me about the situation and encouraging me to move forward. To my surprise I get home and they call me telling me that they will no longer be representing my case 2 weeks before my court date. Most of my money lost and I feel incredibly betrayed. They represented my divorce case. I have a fairly straightforward case with no children involved and no real disagreement with my co petitioner. I am a Spanish speaker. This is incredibly unprofessional and I will be elevating this situation once I get my divorce settled.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. They withdrew from our case for which I had a zoom meeting today but the withdrawal was not accepted. Now that I am 30 minutes away from the zoom meeting they tell me the withdrawal has been accepted and they kicked me out of the office. I might be late to very important zoom meeting due to this behavior. They have been unprofessional, expensive, and ultimately I have been cheated out of $5000 for 3 weeks of minimal work.

Please read if you're military or working with Carrie. She literally forgot about our case for over 6 weeks, and then when we called to ask why nothing had been done, then charged us again to rediscuss the matter with my wife. We were doing a prenup, and because of her, it took 3 months, and we even received apologies from the front desk and her paralegal because Carrie forgot about our case. She charged us every month and did nothing, and then when was reminded of the case charged more. It was estimated to be 1200$ for the prenup and is trying to charge close to 3000$ (whats crazy is she didn't even write it... literally had to review it) On top of that, her office is discusting. It smells and has trash everywhere. Do not use her, or you will be ripped off and take months to finish your case.

For all the supposed experience, I went bankrupt on lackluster and quite frankly pathetic representation. If you’re looking for someone to hold your hand while you fold for the other party, Carey is your girl! I’ve hired this firm for two different cases, and I REGRET using them, even for the case that went in my favor!! That Says a lot. Also the way she spoke negatively about her other clients and peers should have been my first indicator to fire her. I was afraid and un knowledgeable, which allowed everyone to take advantage of me. Especially carry. Her callousness and arrogance overshadowed everything and I allowed her cocky demeanor to make me feel like she knew what she was doing. News flash, she didn’t and at some points FORGOT about my case, missed dead lines, lost documents and were technologically challenged. Which caused more expenses. She said a quick email to confirm something would be less expensive but they would PURPOSELY make a bigger deal out of a question to allow them to bill me more. This happened multiple times. Just crooked. I mean I have no other words. I would have been better off going with a more tenacious attorney, but honestly even just going at it myself would have been WAY LESS detrimental and financially devastating. I’m considering going into the legal field. To quote legally blonde, what like it’s hard? If you work like Carey, no. It’s not. But we do anything for our kids right? Next time I’ll choose MY ATTORNEY better… I proactively warn people to NOT use this firm and I’ll continue to do so.

one star for a reason... not willing to elaborate

Look elsewhere. Gasper law are crooks. They will have you sign a contract stating the retainer is $3750, then charge a trust fee of $750 for a total of $4500. If you ask them verbally for the total this is what you will be told. In my case specifically, I was assigned my attorney late May, had a one consultation, one office visit. A couple phones calls, a couple emails and a court date. Case closed. Why am I being told I owe about $9,000 total now after the fact. That was never communicated to me or I never would've agreed to that! When you question that or asked for a full breakdown you get the rudest response from Holly and Renee. I hired an attorney 3 years ago at another law firm and he did twice as much work for way less than this! I would never recommend this shady firm to anyone. Absolute crooks.

Very nice staff. I have used Gasper in 2 cases I have been through just in the last 4 months. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you Gasper!!!

Christine,Kris, and Ebony are amazing and compassionate. We enjoyed every interaction. Gasper Law firm keep appropriate communication and not in excess which keep our cost low. Phil Winegar was our lawyer years ago and I never thought about leaving a review. I was made aware that I could do this as of late. He is a wonderful lawyer and a kind man. He helped us during an extremely trying time. We are very thankful for all his help. He is a good man to have on your side.
