James Newby was not only highly professional, but was also extremely compassionate and relatable. He always answered my questions, and promptly returned my calls and texts. He was sensitive to how nervous I was about the case I was in, and from the start was always on my side. He was able to convey legal terms and things I needed to know about my case in a way that I understood, which made the entire process much less scary for me. Truly, if you need an attorney, I would recommend James each and every time. My name is Kasie Mooney and Mr. Newby represented my husband in his case, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Mr. Newby's representation. My only criticism would be that he can sometimes get a little busy and scattered at times, but he was able to get my husband a great deal in his case. There were even a few incidents in public that he helped us with. One incident got so out of hand that Mr. Newby stayed on the phone with me for over an our and a half, and even got the District Attorney on the phone to help us. I would gladly reccomend anyone of my friends or family to him, and if I am ever in trouble (which hopefully I am not) I am glad I know which attorney I can call and can trust will do their best to represent me.

If you need a great lawyer James Newby is the man who can get you the best possible outcome. I thought my situation was hopeless and that I could not get out of the situation. Mr Newby is an excellent attorney. He took my case at the last minute and did a fabulous job! He was very considerate to my circumstances and also took the time to really listen to what I had to say. When it came time for decisions to be made, he never once forced me to make a decision I didn't want to. He laid out the facts, presented what he thought was the best option, but ultimately left it up to me to decide. Never once did I feel pressured. Also, he was very very generous when it came time for payment. He offered me a very affordable and flexible payment plan. If it wasn't for that, I never would've been able to afford a lawyer. As of about a week ago, I had an issue with my probation. I emailed him out of the blue, after two years, and he immediately handle the situation. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Newby. Helped out my situation

After a very stressful year dealing with court appointed lawyers who continually dragged my case along without progress, I am pleased to announce that my case has been settled to my liking thanks to James! I have always been under the assumption that hiring private representation would become too expensive and not really make much of a difference, but I was most certainly wrong in this particular instance (DUI). After the judge offered me an unjust sentence, I called James and was in his office the following morning. He was upfront about what he could do for me and very reasonable when it came to financing options which again was my biggest concern. James executed his swift yet knowledgable experience and got my sentence reduced considerably. I can honestly say that I'll never need his services again as I have learned my lesson, but I would also have no problem passing along his number along to anyone who's seeking legal counsel in El Paso County!

James was amazing! He was so helpful so informative extremly confident and got my husbands case taken care of quickly and efficiently! I would 100% recommend him time and time again! Hopefully we never need him again but if we do i know just who we are calling!
