I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ray and feel extremely fortunate to have discovered his legal services when I did. I had originally filed for divorce through the nation-wide law firm "Cordell & Cordell" and was extremely dissatisfied with their exhorbitant fees and severe lack of client care. After talking on the phone, I made the decision to switch to Ray as I found him much easier to relate to. He explained relevant legal processes in a practical way without dragging me through the weeds. Additionally, he wisely engineered a comprehensive legal strategy specifically designed for my case and executed it to perfection. He listened to my positions and was willing to represent me in a much more thorough manner than Cordell and Cordell. Certain aspects of my case were already generally pre-determined due to existing case law, but Ray fought for my position against long odds anyway which really made me feel like he was on my team. Ray is an experienced lawyer in family law and previously had a stellar career reaching the pinnacle of the milary legal environment as a senior Air Force JAG officer. The judge's final decision in my divorce case ended up being more favorable than anything I could have expected and the credit goes to Ray and his team of paralegals who prepared an impressive argument which held the day in court. I enthusiastically recommend Ray's legal expertise to any military personnel or civilian requiring family law needs. As the owner of his own firm, I think he has more of a vested interest in adequately representing his clients as best he can and I found his rates to be relatively affordable. Thanks again Ray! I feel very strongly that if I had stayed with my previous lawyer, there is no way my case would have turned out as well as it did with you!

Ray has been my lawyer since June of 2014 and not once was I disappointed in his service. He fought for my rights while I was deployed and most of all he took care of everything. Not one single issue. He was always in contact with me to keep me informed on what's going on. I was divorced in December2014 and he continued to fight for me he also helped me with relocation in 2015 because of him and his great work of his paralegals Cindy btw helped me take my kids with me. If any more issues ever arise I plan on going straight to Ray again.

The adoption of my foreign born child went well. It took longer than anticipated but Mr. Chamberland kept the final bill amount under the retainer fee.

Ray represented us during our relocation case. It was a very contentious case and the other party refused to cooperate. Ray led us through the process with professionalism and integrity and in the end we won full custody and were allowed to move with the kids. He genuinely cared about the well being of the kids and took the time to learn about them and their personalities. Even though at times we felt helpless and that there was no end in sight, Ray kept us on track and we came out on top.

A year ago I chose Ray Chamberland to represent My husband and I in a step parent adoption. Given the circumstances with the biological father, we ran into one obstacle after another. Ray was consistent, professional, honest, and just an all around blessing through out the entire process. After a year of him helping us complete each task required for the adoption, our court date finally came. Going into any court hearing always brings fear and anxiety. Ray finished as strong as he started. My husband and I had absolutely no doubt that we had made the best decision hiring Ray for legal representation. He exceeded any expectations, and was fearless and knowledgable during the hearing. After completing the adoption, the judge complimented Ray on how strong and diligent he presented the case. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal representation.

From the beginning Ray did his best to act as mediator between myself and the other parent in a very contentious case. Ray saved me considerable time by encouraging me to create a parenting plan and attempting to negotiate with the other parent. When mediation and negotiations failed and it came tocourt hearings and navigating that process I felt that Ray was highly competent and I felt comfortable with his input and guidance. In addition, I felt that Ray's responses to my questions and requests for information were timely. That doesn't mean that when I sent an email he immediately responded or he picked up the phone every time I called. I understood I wasn't his only client but when I needed information to meet a deadline or when a significant date in the parenting plan had arrived I knew he was available to again, help me navigate those stressful and emotional situations. My experience with Ray's staff has also been very positive. I find them helpful and trust them to deliver messages and they have always followed up with me. The outcome of my situation was more than I could have expected. I don't think I could have hired a better attorney to represent me. Everyone needs to find an attorney that "fits" them and I have to say that Mr. Chamberland is the perfect attorney to work with and I would highly encourage you to meet with him. You will find him to be straight forward, level headed and a skilled representative in court.

Ray and his team did a great job for me in my divorce. They all kept me informed, was a difficult case and had multiple times in court for other reasons and won every battle against some odds. Gave me wise advise in not accepting mediation offer that was put on the table I've referred several friendsto him and have a friend that had same results.
