I can’t thank the good people at Marrison Family Law enough. I am a domestic violence survivor, and I have been fighting for justice in the hands of my abusive ex for nearly two years now. I just can’t see him get off scot-free and do this to another woman or something. The lawyers helped me ensure that my case was airtight, and most importantly, they kept my head in the game. I can’t tell you how many times I thought my case was going to be useless, hopeless, dismissed due to lack of evidence or all that. No, they helped me handle everything, and they helped me find the strength to overcome it all. They helped me gather up the evidence I needed; they presented my case so well, and most importantly, they gave me a fighting chance where I was sure there was none. I am wholeheartedly recommending any woman who needs help to go to them and give themselves a chance.

I one hundred percent recommend Marrison Family Law if you’ve got yourself in a noose with a highly toxic ex who about refuses to budge on anything. Even when it’s her fault! To say my divorce was turbulent would be a massive understatement—Kelsey refused to listen to any reason, and she got violent. I would NOT allow that in front of my kids and the rest of the family. I was positive that she only dragged this on for my military benefits, and I knew I needed lawyers that knew how to deal with that. This is EXACTLY why I recommend Marrison Family. I say this with no exaggeration: Marrison Family Law helped save my son’s life. As his parents, even we had fears and doubts going into a domestic violence case where the woman is the abuser. My son had always expressed fear that he wasn’t going to be believed and that his wife was now going to paint him as the one who had harmed her despite all the evidence to the opposite. The attorneys did an exceptional job in the documentation and ensured that they got all the pertinent facts and information from us and everyone involved. As a result, my son’s name is clear, and we got justice for what has been done to him by his now soon-to-be ex-wife. Who knows what could’ve happened otherwise.

Thank you, Marrison Family Law! It has been three long years, but we finally received justice. My ex-wife tried everything she can to get every cent off me (including money meant for our kids!), and for a while there, I thought she might get it. But the attorneys made sure that my kids’ interests and mine were very well protected. We ended up with what I feel is something fair for both her and me, and I get custody of the children. And I just hope that with that, we can put this all behind us.

With my whole heart, thank you, Marrison Family, for what you’ve done for my brother. For me, it’s like it’s so tough for men to be taken as seriously as women do when it comes to domestic violence. But my brother is a good, kind man who was truly abused and taken advantage of by an evil person. This firm helped free my brother from hell he’s endured AND helped him and my family get the peace of mind that we’d hoped for. I can’t thank you enough. I can’t recommend you enough. I want to commend the staff at Marrison Family Law for handling my divorce so professionally and so effectively at all times. My now ex-wife is from a privileged upbringing, and she did take out what was practically HER family’s entire law team at me, but Marrison family never let me down for a second. There were occasions when things did become pretty heated across the table, but everyone handled it with outstanding professionalism because god knows, I could barely keep it together myself. It’s all over now, and I honestly can’t thank the firm enough for all they’ve done for me at this end.

I received excellent legal services from Marrison Law my lawyer Makayla and her paralegal Danielle Jorgensen are very honest and understanding the best part was they respond quickly to questions I have hired 2 other lawyers in Colorado Springs for other cases and it took days to get an Answer back and I have no patience so having Makayla/Danielle respond quickly definitely made the experience better dealing with a court matter. My case only took maybe 2 months so I got part of my retainer back they were always upfront and willing to show me proof of what my retainer was used for I plan on using them again for my stepparent adoption case also the dog in the office is adorable so be ready for some puppy love when you visit.

Hired one of the lawyers with a $2500 retainer fee to help with child support and parenting time. Within 2 months my retainer was already gone. During that time I had moved and called in to update my address. Apparently the update never occurred and was never notified that my retainer was gone. So when I told them I no longer wanted their services they said I owe them $3400. Whatttttttt? How is that possible??? They refused to show me an itemized report and told me if I didn’t pay it they would just send it to collections.
