My dad passed away recently and left a will. After doing some research I found out that I had some legal questions, and may not be able to take on the probate from his estate myself. The last thing I wanted to do was to have to involve an attorney, and take more time and money, to close out his affairs. I made a list of 12 local probate attorneys to call to get prices, timelines, and answers to several questions I had. I called the first four and had to leave a message, one was backed up until November, and the interaction with the receptionist staff of the 1st four was not a good experience. When I came to the Peakstone Law group they answered the phone in 3 rings. More surprisingly they were able to meet with me for a free consult that day. The other 4 I called required a consult fee. When I met with Patterson Weaver, he heard my concerns, and to my surprise his response was “hopefully you do not need my services,” and he give me an item to check that would mean I could in fact handle the probate myself. I came to find out that I did not need the assistance of a probate attorney. I do not normally do reviews. The staff at Peakstone Law group are top notch! Most impressively, Patterson shattered my common stereotypes in seeking legal advice by acting ethically, and in the right way saving me thousands of dollars and offering sound legal advice. I cannot recommend this law group and Patterson enough if you ever need legal help, for client service, and doing the right thing!
