Todd, Emily and Andrea have been amazing through this whole process with me. They all were available to answer all my questions. Even the ones that sounded dumb to me. I never felt judged they all were straight forward, professional and very nice. They were very clear as to what my next steps would be. I never felt hounded for things. I was told when I needed to have something by with enough notice for me to get it done. If I ever have to file for bankruptcy again (knock on wood) I would definitely pick this team. Thank you!

It was difficult for me to admit to myself that I needed to apply for disability but I finally made the decision to give Lilac a call based on reviews and I liked the name. While initiating my claim things seems to go as they should, the first meeting was in person and I brought in as much documentation I had to give. Then they asked their standard set of questions, and I knowing nothing about this process had many questions of my own. At the end of our meeting I was satisfied with all said and done and the process seemed through. They told we that the time it takes from date of file to a final decision fluctuates substantially and that if they needed anymore information from me they would contact me and if I had any questions to contact them. During this time was a profound struggle which it still is. I have a cellphone but it periodically got turned off due to not being able to afford the bill. But I always had the ability for a Wi-Fi connection and I would still get emails from them just about once every week or two so I was relieved to know that they still could contact me via email if by chance my phone service was inactive. Fast forward 5 -6 months I haven't heard anything from them beside their consistent impersonal mass e-mails that evidently anyone who signs up automatically receives. I would still open the emails to double check they didn't actually have valid information in them but they never did. So I decided to call them and see if anything new may be in the mix, and when an employee had checked my information on file they told me my file has been terminated! And the reason for them closing my file was they couldn't contact me. I explain to them why I may had short periods of time that I couldn't be reached by phone, and the longest stretch of time without service was a week. But most importantly I still had another valid option for communication, and why wouldn't they just do the next normal course of action and send me a e-mail, especially before going to the extreme of closing my file? The girl I spoke with didn't have the answer so I asked to speak with the boss and she was busy at the time. Next day I try calling again to no avail but make sure to leave a message. No call back ,So I write her an e-mail expressing my confusion on the situation and to please get back to me so we can get this figured out. She refused to even give me any type of response for taking such an extreme measure and not putting any effort in contacting me before doing something so serious. This situation is legitimately the most ridiculous and unacceptable example of unprofessionalism I have ever seen. How can such a business one day decide to add more stress and frustration to someone who their lifes quality is in their hands with my trust and blessing believing that they will do everything they can. I feel that I have been seriously wronged and that they should be held accountable for that degree of carelessness. They only thing I can think that would produce this type of behavior is discriminatory hatered.

They helped me get on disability and only took several months rather than years

I was blown away how Todd and his staff were so professional, responsive and frankly extremely nice to me during this whole process. It is rare to find those qualities in a business where they deal with a whole spectrum of details and circumstances. Considering I had never done this before and was a nervous wreck Todd and Emily were like family and made the process as easy as possible. If you communicate with them they'll communicate with you! Randi Johnson and her team did a really great job compiling my medical issues and preparing proper paperwork to the judge. Even during the pandemic and requesting a phone hearing they worked hard to make it possible for a favorable approval of my disability case.
