Maxted Law (David Maxted) made a traumatic and difficult legal experience regarding the wrongful death of a loved one, tolerable, supportive, and even healing. David's (and his team's) compassion, kindness, brilliance, and patience were of critical support to me in a very challenging time. He was always respectful and never pressured me as he presented legal options, weighed pros and cons and potential outcomes, and honored my needs and desires, as well as, my grief process. He took the time to know me and my situation, yet remained objective. His intelligence and competence were beyond what I could have hoped for and he was willing to "take on" agencies for justice that others were not-- WITH SUCCESS. I cannot recommend Maxted Law enough!

In 1994, David Lane, represented me against the Colorado Prison System for setting me up to be severely hurt. Recently while going through all the legal work from that case(93-n-2129), I discovered if not for David, I probably would have been set up to murdered by the corrupt guards & officials of that era. David fought for me behind the scenes like a pit bull. Thank you David! I'm humbled and grateful for what you did for me.

Not going to lie, being argued with about my own case by a law firm I'd expect to want my business is very off-putting. I stated I was uncomfortable sending documents electronically as I've had things get lost and never make it to law enforcement that way but despite me living one block over and the firm being referred to me by a friend who used to work there I was not allowed to sign or even provide materials stating my claim in person. I don't need an appointment, I don't need to sit anywhere in a lobby, I'd just prefer to hand deliver something to them myself to make sure it arrived as I would have intended it did. Still yet to receive that text message with the address in it where I can mail everything...good thing it's just a block over...

Raquel was absolutely amazing! When she called me to gather my statement pertaining to an employment discrimination inquiry, she was very attentive to my concerns. As I was explaining my situation, she had many follow-up questions to ensure that she understood my situation which gave me confidence that she was listening to me. She has the patience and attentiveness that I really need during this difficult process. This level of professionalism drew me in to express myself confidently. I didn't feel rushed while talking to her as i can tell she wanted to be as thorough as possible to get my story.

Darold Killmer and his team did amazing work on my case resulting in a mediation settlement exceeding my expectations. They never gave up even though it took longer than I expected. They are trustworthy, provide excellent communications and one of the most respected law firms in Colorado.

Never have a encountered such unprofessionalism. I've been patient, waiting on word back about my case. Yes I understand these things take time but I've waited a month and two weeks only to receive an attitude and to be told "I can seek help elsewhere". The person who assisted me "LV" decided she wants to give me an attitude just for politely asking the status of the information I provided her. She's had time to go on vacation and plenty of opportunity to ask if I had a case or not but she's the one who put the timeframe on her having a response. She is super unprofessional and unhelpful and has a bad attitude. If you call this firm I hope you don't have to deal with this person for ultimately they will drag their feet and coo an attitude when you inquire about information. I'm sorry you have a job to do lol you can't just sit around and be lazy and expect people to not inquire about the status of the information they've given you.

I had Darold Killmer and Maddie Lips as my attorneys and they were great through the entire process. Articulate, punctual, and thoughtful as well. They really are the best, go with them for employment matters!
