Divorce is never easy, but Harris and the supporting cast of Jeff Shepherd, Beth Wilkins, and Larry Ford made the experience much more pleasant. I interviewed a total of 6 firms before I landed on Harris and would say that I made the right choice...without a doubt. Harris was on the case and kept me abreast every step of the way. At no point did I feel like I was being kept in the dark and it was quite the opposite as I was being informed constantly. To see Jeff operate in the courtroom during one portion of the case was truly refreshing! He is a great coach and had my back from day one. What I took away from the time that I spent with Harris is the first meeting I had with Jeff and he said to me "I need you to start doing two things!" 1) I need you to start living your best life and 2) Detach yourself from the other party in every sense of the word (emotionally, physically, mentally, etc). This advice made getting through this tough time much easier to swallow and prepped me for a new chapter in my life! Because of my experience with Harris, I am much happier and better off and now the new chapter begins! Thank You Harris, Jeff, Beth and Larry! I couldn't have gotten through this 8-month ordeal without you in my corner!

I was represented better than I could have ever imagined. My needs were always put first . My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. My nerves were calmed and the process was always explained to me to give me a better understanding. My attorney Jordan Mader fought hard for me. Your experience may vary: For starters Javed was great but after that once assigned to Mr. S, I just became a billing client for his numbers. He was unprepared on every front. Showed up to mediation and the mediator schooled him on the process, and he even said ‘I have not read the file yet’. Wait, we are in mediation for a divorce and you have not read the file to prepare yourself? Then it just became, ‘you need to come up with more money for the offer’. More money, more money all the while not defending any assets I had, no attempt at all, and always dismissed at every turn. “it doesn’t matter’, ‘that won’t matter’, ‘courts are not interested’, no defense on anything. Showed up to court and he had nothing, OC threw a curve ball and he died on the sport, no defense, no plan B, not even a C, or a D , nothing, just dead air. I think even the judge was shocked. Worthless representation from this firm. From then on it was just OC and the judge rolling over us all the way to the end. I had the proof, had all the supporting documents for the defense and sent him that. Researched something back 15 years to try to get something dismissed, but he wasn’t interested. How are you a lawyer if you’re not going to represent your client when you have the proof for a defense and you need to share with the court and you don’t? It is in explainable why you didn’t share this, but you go out and claim you need to rewrite every document OC sends, only to end up submitting the same document they started with. Spend the time defending your client and not needlessly wasting time on billing your client for useless stuff because you need to make you’re numbers. If you cannot defend your client, then remove yourself from the case. When you do complain about the service you are met with being dismissed. ‘That’s how the system works, it’s not fair’. It’s fair if you show up on equal footing and you lose because it was a fair fight. It becomes unfair when the attorney you hire doesn’t show up at all and doesn’t disclose to the court information that could change the outcome, and doesn’t fight for you but just dismisses you because they don’t want to do their job. In the end, because of the lack of representation and defense I had to cut a deal with the EX to stop the loss. A deal that should have never happened and why I hired representation. - Harris Services were terminated.
