They are o.k. Even though It took almost 3 years to settle for much less than I expected.

My experience with the Bourassa Law Group was top notch. They were always very professional and polite, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and secured top dollar for my case. If I'm ever in need of a lawyer again I will 100% use them again.

Jill Jacobs, and thus, this firm, is the epitome of "bad lawyer" jokes. Truly appalling her disregard for ethics, let alone the law! Hiring her will ONLY get you exploited by excessive legal costs and escalated issues. A perfect example of cause for the death penalty, in civil law,if only such justice prevailed. But as with criminal execution, no justice prevails when the players of the game are MORE corrupt than the accused!

After researching bankruptcy lawyers in our area, we chose Robert because of the insightful postings on his website and a conversation with him at his office. Robert does not waste your time with a sales pitch. After carefully listening to our situation, he gave us a bluntly honest assessment and described the options and obstacles we faced. It was not going to be easy, but Robert’s demeanor, honesty, and clarity gave us confidence. Once we agreed to work together, Robert gave us a very fair price and was clear on what we needed to do, what he needed from us, accompanied by a very accurate timeframe. Throughout the entire process Robert kept us informed about every step. His updates, including what to expect and how to handle it, were delivered with plenty of time to respond and his assessments were spot on. He never failed to take our calls, answer our silly questions, and reassure us over the many huddles. Although there were many issues, including a very unresponsive trustee, with many, many extra hours of work on his part, Robert hung in there and brought our case to a successful conclusion (all without any additional fees). I have gone back to Robert on several occasions for help on other issues. If the probelm is not in his expertise, he always has an excellent referral to help me out.

We had a complicated bankruptcy that required additional research on Rob's part. He did not charge any more than he quoted and did a great job getting the work done for us.
