So I really thought I’d be going to prison. I’d already paid over 13 grand to another attorney who quit right before trial. Then I was appointed Alaurice. Not only did she actually ask me questions, she stayed on me when I was trying to just avoid the whole thing. She took down so many details. She then got my case dismissed which was an insane amount of relief. She’s awesome and I couldn’t thank her enough.

I had a criminal summons against me that was a misdemeanor but still very stressful. As soon as I retained Alaurice it was clear she knew the exact steps to get the charges dismissed. I was able to relax through the process and sure enough, she got the charges dismissed and sealed. I’m so impressed with her abilities and so grateful. I was charged with 3 serious felonies and facing decades in prison. The Public Defenders Office suggested I make a guilty plea. The Public Defenders Office looked at me as future "state property"!! Ms. Tafoya is "HANDSDOWN " Incredible at her job! I was never left wondering, or waiting on a response from her, concerning my case. She also got me, what was supposed to be 2 years probation, dropped to 1 year, I had several charges with my case on a Federal level. So when I received 2 years probation I felt I'd won the lottery.
