I hired Mr. Burton to help with an ineffective assistance of counsel claim. At the time I was in prison and short on funds. I have spent years working on my own case and while most lawyers didn't want to listen to my input, Mark embraced the hard work that I did and actually used the information to win an Illegal Sentence motion. This opened the door for future filings. I continue to work with Mr. Burton and believe that we will have success in the future. Mark is a caring individual and stands separate from most attorneys in his dedication to the individual, not the dollar sign. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with criminal trial work or appeals.
