Instead of coming to me to allow me to sell my house and give one-half of the profits to his clients, since that half was owned by my then husband, Noel leaned the house. This meant the bank took it and no profit was made for his clients. I owned it half/half Tenants in Common. I believe he illegally blocked me from receiving my half of the equity of $150,000 and therefore denied his clients $75,000 by doing so. I read his other reviews and I can see that he doesn’t get money back. That is because instead of working with me, who had no dealings with my husband’s business, he let the bank take the house. So I believe he is guilty of harassment and theft. He continues to harass me by sending me yet another legal document when he KNOWS the court found me not liable or any part of the legal action my husband was involved in. Knowing harassment via legal briefs by a professional attorney is illegal. He’s trampled my legal rights by yet another legal attack to a very ill older women whom he knows has nothing to give him. He also knows I am not now nor ever was responsible for any debts other than my own. Lastly, he’s not smart enough to negotiate to get money for his clients, by allowing a house to be sold. (REALLY NOT SMART). He just takes the rights of non-liable people, which makes him criminally inclined in my personal observation. What he lacks in intelligence, he makes up in aggressiveness. In this world, its all about using your legal clout to abuse people, huh Noel? Or would you prefer, Mr. Guardi?

When I was scammed a few years ago by a couple of very convincing con men , who were recommended to me by a colleague, I was devastated. When I contacted the SEC, I was told it would be highly doubtful that I would every see any of my lost funds. It was extremely distressing to receive a letter from the SEC stating that my financial advisor was being investigated for perpetuating a Ponzi, and even more disheartening to feel I had no recourse or hope of recovery. Although the SEC believed the scheme was a Ponzi, they didn't find any money to recover to compensate the victims. On the eve before the trial began, we received a settlement offer from the local bank. He successfully negotiated a satisfactory settlement with unanimous support from the entire group of plaintiffs. Mr. Guardi honestly seemed to eat, sleep and breathe our case. He spent countless hours reviewing documents, preparing briefs, and preparing us for the trial ahead. After feeling so betrayed and helpless, I can't explain how wonderful it felt to have a tireless advocate on my side. Not only did I experience some financial recovery, the whole experience helped me emotionally recover from the shame and embarrassment I felt at being conned. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Guardi to any potential clients. He is fierce, determined, resourceful, diligent and extremely good at what he does. Noel come to us from the grace of God. Without him and his expert skills we would still be looking for answers. From the start he explained the case, costs, and a time line. Noel did an excellent job with a very complex and tough case. At the start of the case I thought we would never recover anywhere close to our total loss. Trujillo and his team had no money and there were so many twists and turns in the case, chances of success seemed next to zero. But Noel carefully, wisely, and aggressively worked to get past the legal tie ups, and he found where we could get some restitution for the losses we suffered. Noel overcame challenge after challenge and gave us wise counsel to maximize our return. Hey, he did better than the SEC on our case. I also liked that he kept us informed on the legal proceeding in simple English and prepared us if we needed to go to trial. Noel did an excellent job.

Its been a long, long while but I have never forgotten this gentleman (and his bride( who championed a shareholder litigation of investors vs MacGuide Magazine, RB Marich and the "brains" of the rip off, founder, David Duty who, by the way, still owes me $250k awarded by Judge Connie Peterson. Of course scum rises to the top and Duty managed to evadfe all collection efforts. C'est la gurre! Noel managed to recover at least some money from the failed MacGuide for some of the investors who signed on to sue. Iam now 75 andf have fond memories of the Guardis who held my han through the morass after I filed complaints with the Denver SEC. A good person, Noel is.
