Jennifer Donaldson is honest and so easy to work with. She also communicates clearly. I was recommended to Parker and Lipman from a family member. To be honest I did not know what to expect since I never needed a lawyer before. I was so surprised! Karen and Loraine treated me like I was family. I knew they had my back and were there for any questions or concerns I had. My case is now over, but I will always have my friendship with them. For those of you who don’t like to read detailed reviews I’ll make it easy for you. If you’re thinking of hiring Jonathan Sar, then do it. He’s easy to work with, and in my case was very effective in obtaining a settlement from my insurance company. I was having my roof replaced. It turned out that the structural support of my roof was not up to current code. An engineer was hired to determine what was required. The remedy he proposed was very costly, and the insurance company did not want to pay for any of it. I was referred to Jonathan. At the outset he said it wasn’t clear if we had a good case but he was willing to look into it. There would be no charge if I got nothing, and he would take thirty percent of the settlement if we did obtain something. It was a bit of a complicated case and Jonathan had to speak several time with the Boulder County code people, the engineer, and the roofers. Initially the insurance company ignored him just as they did me, but eventually he negotiated with their lawyer and they reached as good as an agreement as we were going to get. Due to the stipulations in my insurance policy there was a limit to how much they had to pay for structural upgrades so I still ended up with considerable out of pocket expense. Jonathan said that since he didn’t have to do that much work he would decrease the contingency fee of thirty percent. I can’t recall exactly what it was reduced to, but it amounted to a significant amount of money. I never heard of a lawyer, or anyone else for that matter, taking less money than they were entitled to but that’s what he did.

I was referred to this law firm by a different lawyer who couldn't help with what we are dealing with. They were the wrong kind of lawyer, fine. But this review is simply about how abhorrently I was treated just for calling. I was talked over and yelled at while simultaneously being told not to do either of those things to them. For context, I was answering questions and finishing saying my answers while being talked over, then getting yelled at for finishing answering the questions asked while they decided that they didn't need to let me finish speaking before yelling at me. This was literally the worst phone call I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Extremely unprofessional.

This was my second time working with Jonathan Sarr. He took such great care of my son and I both times. He is extremely knowledgeable and very caring. He constantly checked in on us and made sure we were ok, and answered whatever questions I had throughout the whole process. I highly recommend him!
