Unprofessional, confused attorneys. I retained Michelle Ahronovitz, and at the point when I needed to replenish the retainer, I waited for the payment request. No request came. I didn’t think of it again; I’m a busy person who doesn’t need anything else to worry about on my off days other than checking my email. I save all the emails from the firm while I’m on that subject. A few days go by, and Michelle Ahronovitz emails me threatening to withdraw as representation for non-payment. I am given a short period to pay which is no problem, but still am not given a method to pay the requested amount. I inform Michelle Ahronovitz that Yvette Mendez has not sent me the payment request as she claims in her email. I ask both Michelle and Yvette for the payment request. Yvette sends me PDF files that are not payable online forms. I ask, repeatedly, over a period of weeks, for a method to make payments. Michelle Ahronovitz answers numerous times at length about their payment systems, informing me that my bill had already been sent. Michelle Ahronovitz would not comment on my CURRENT NEED of a payment request, even though I told her multiple times I did not have one. Yvette Mendez would continue to send PDF’s with numbers, NOT the link a person needs to actually make the payment. Neither Michelle Ahronovitz nor Yvette Mendez would comment on the fact that I could not make a payment on a payment request I had not received. Neither Michelle Ahronovitz nor Yvette Mendez answered my numerous requests to send me a payment request in order to pay the bill. Michelle Ahronovitz then withdrew as representation for nonpayment 17 hours before I expected her to be in court. This will be the 3rd and 4th court dates today that I must postpone proceedings because Michelle Ahronovitz has failed to accompany me to court. The 1st missed court date was her not understanding I needed her to represent me in two cases. The 2nd missed court date is because, as she states in email to me, she “thought [they] had filed the paperwork for representation in that case,” and that is why she was unaware of the court date she was missing. Anyone associated with this firm should be avoided at all costs, both for potential clients and future employers. They make the already stressful situations they are retained for even more stressful. No one deserves such subpar representation. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Do not risk putting your case in the butterfingers of Meyer Law Office.

It's been a draining 9 years of worry and agony fighting for my mother's citzenship. With the amazing help of Hans and Lourdes they executed this case effienctly and went all the way to grant my mother her U.S residency. I am beyond grateful that God put Hans in my mothers path to help her with this complex case that was finally finalized today. Very effective communication and technique.
