I contacted PetersPoormon, because my partner and I were served a summons for an unlawful eviction and needed council for litigation. We were previously working with a different attorney on the correspondence/negotiation side of this issue, but are now looking to retain a new lawyer who is covered under MetLife legal benefits, because eviction litigation can cost thousands of dollars. As I was explaining why we needed to find a lawyer covered by our MetLife policy, he cut me off, and told me "I'm not interest. I won't take a case where another lawyer is involved. That's it. Okay?" Maybe MetLife doesn't pay them enough or something, but he is not motivated by helping people. He seems incompetent at best, and egotistical at worse. I would not consider working with someone like this, neither for arbitration NOR litigation, because I would not trust him to consider the client's needs/priorities above his own when representing them, NOR exhibit the attention and agility required in litigation.

Richard and team were really timely, responsive, and helpful with pulling our documents together, taking feedback, and notarizing them in their office. I was very happy to connect with them and know who I will call when I'm next in need of legal services.

I've been having an issue with my landlord. This attorney wrote a demand letter and then refused to respond to any further communication. Would not take my calls, would not return emails. Horrible way to treat people who need help.

reached out to them for a traffic ticket, was hurried off the phone. took a week to get a retainer signed then they went radio silent. I had reached out to them a few days before my court date, no response. it wasn't until I informed them that I was going with different representation that I finally got a response.

I've gone through two car accident cases through this firm (I obviously have the best luck haha) and my attorney James Peters was amazing for both cases. He has always made the process super easy for me, which I value and appreciate, and has always succeeded my expectations. Throughout my cases, I also had the pleasure of working with Mr.Peters' Paralegal, Elizabeth Hale, who is seriously one of the most kind people I've ever came across. She was a huge support system throughout both cases and consistently went out of her way to make sure I was being taken care of and up-to-date on my cases. Overall, the people working at this firm are amazing and I would recommend them to everyone looking for a great attorney. I wish the firm nothing but success in the future!

I am an engineering student studying at Purdue in Indiana and I got into an accident two days after returning from fall break. I was very nervous about the whole process because it was my first ticket and I could not miss class. Mr. Peters was able to get me a good deal, and he and the staff always answered all of my questions and made the process much easier. Would definitely recommend to anyone in a similar situation.
