Absolutely terrible representation and accounting practices. Approximately every 45 days you are asked to update your financials. This adds a minimum of 1,500 to your bill for them to review and process. This is done regardless of where you are in court with your case. Crediting your account for overpayments isn’t always shown, your account is billed weekly for them reviewing even when no action is taken. Expect 2-4k in invoices monthly at a minimum. Additionally Invoices are inflated and the representation provided does not match the services charged. Please review all negative feedback before considering this firm. Sloppy work, lack of attention to details with drafts, poor strategies with court and a failure to advise client of what they are agreeing to with mediations. My ex husbands lawyer won everything he wanted and more in addition to being charged significantly less in legal fees.

Mr Skees is very knowledgeable and experienced with Law, in many different forms. He is considerate, yet is straight forward. I feel like I am finally in good hands, for the first time in my case, which has been going on for over a year. I would definitely recommend him.

Good place to go if you would like to feel like a number and a dollar sign. On multiple occasions I was charged $87 for emailing simple statements like, "I just dropped something in the mail, let me know when you get it." The lack of discretion for billing was bothersome. My matter was not urgent and had no deadlines or upcoming work that needed to be done. However, if my retainer balance would fall from $3,000 to $2,700, James McBee was sure to call, email, and text me nearly daily. Ironically, once I cancelled services and requested a refund of my retainer, it took 2 months to receive the check in the mail.
