I watched a lady before me with the same identical case be handcuffed and taken to jail. The judge warned me to never come before him again so I was sure he would throw the book at me. I hired David Colt for way less than every other attorney I contacted. I've never seen an attorney be shown so much admiration by a judge, he apologized to us both for having to wait, then proceeded to dismiss every fine he could and then apologize to me for the fines he was forced to impose. I was expecting to pay a few thousand in fines and possibly lose my license, I paid less than $200, and a measly $30 to get my license reinstated. Retaining David Colt was the the best decision and investment I could have made. If you have a serious traffic case, hire him because if you don't, you'll wish you had.

Ann Toney represented me in a complex DUI case in which the District Attorney would not offer a plea deal for various reasons related to my career. A deputy was sitting outside of a bar/ restaurant and stopped me as I exited the establishment for no legal reason. She was diligent and thorough throughout the entire process and was tough when she needed to be tough. She fought and won the Department of Revenue Revocation ensuring that I would keep my driver's license. Since the D.A. was not offering any deal Ms. Toney and I decided to fight the case and the judge agreed that the stop was illegal based on a very sound legal argument we won at the preliminary hearing. I would highly recommend Ms. Toney if you find yourself charged with DUI. It is not something that you want to try and fight on your own. The DA's office takes advantage of the fact you are not represented and will hammer you then pat themselves on the back for another hard fought conviction.
