When my sibling died intestate, the legal and emotional issues seemed overwhelming. I'm so glad I found Byron (on this site actually). He and his assistant Phillip struck the perfect balance between sympathy and practicality. Although it wasn't the most straightforward probate, I was kept informed and reassured throughout. I really appreciate everything Byron did, and recommend him to anyone else in the same situation.

I lost my mom and grandmother back to back, I researched over 10 lawyers and found Byron to be the most knowledgeable and compassionate out of them. He is not cheap but his knowledge is outstanding. I had a lot of complexities with my moms estate, add in debts and siblings, and more debts. Plus add in complicated family members too. Byron is a very compassionate guy, and always seemed to know what to do when my brain was on emotional reactivity. Death is awful. We will all meet Mr Death someday and you don't want to wait until you are too late to plan for it. My mom did not have a will. I was left to do her estate and I was always stressed out, but thankfully Byron always answered my questions, he seriously was beyond helpful in getting us to close my moms estate timely. I would recommend him to anyone going through this process.

Byron K. Hammond is wonderful. My brother and I were left with a estate from our younger brother with no will and no beneficiaries. In addition there was a difficult situation involved. He worked tirelessly to obtain the best results for my brother's children and kept all involved sane. If you ever need a lawyer in Colorado for an estate Byron is your man. I was afraid of a costly mistakes that I could make doing probate. After trying to read a how to on the web, probate wasn't for me. I hired Byron to do the probate. This was the best money I've ever spent on a attorney. He made the job look simple, very punctual answering email or phone calls and always friendly and professional. My wife and I needed to update our wills and think more about estate planning. We were very happy with the services we got from Byron. He explained everything clearly, helped us to understand what our options were, and enabled us to get our wills in proper order. Byron answered all our questions clearly and treated us in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Our estate is not large and our wills are not complex, so we are not "big money" clients for an attorney. But we were treated as if we were, which we appreciated.
