Hired him for some criminal charges. After feeling the whole defense process is going into a bad direction and consulting with other attorneys, I fired him and hired another attorney which resulted in dismissal of all the charges against me. Not recommended!

Derek is hands down one of the best and most highly ethical criminal defense lawyers in Colorado. When I was locating a lawyer for a family member I asked a former prosecutor who had gone up against Derek who she would hire when it really mattered. Without hesitation she emphatically recommended Derek. My family member's experience with Derek only served to confirm that he's the best.
