Kathryn Lonowksi was hired to create an estate plan for me after my divorce. Now, years later, she has rewritten my plan to adjust to life changes. She has been very generous with her time. She is very knowledgeable and able to clearly explain the rationale for her recommendations. She and her office staff are always professional.

I went to her for a will. She did not listen to my ideas. She ridiculed my children whom she doesn't know. She was rude and unprofessional and mocking. She made assumptions about how my family would react in situations again with no knowledge of my family. The friend who referred me to her is deeply disappointed in her behavior and will never refer anyone to her again.

Kathryn and her team were diligent, supportive, and helped me achieve the best outcome for my case. She and her team are with you every step of the way. They are sensitive, understanding, and help you navigate all aspects of your case. Kathryn is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and represents her clients wholeheartedly. I hired Kathryn after the death of my ex-husband to clean up the weak divorce decree that I had through another attorney. Kathryn was upfront with her fees, explained what she would and could do for me, and went above and beyond my expectations. I met with Mrs. Lonwoski to review the prenuptial agreement prepared by my fiancé and his lawyer. Before discussing the actual document and she gave me unprofessional advice about my relationship, calling it sick and telling me that my marriage would never work. When it came to the prenuptial itself, I agreed with much of her proposed changes and felt that she would provide strong representation. In the end, I was so appalled by the way I was treated that I selected another lawyer.

She did not explain applicable laws and common pitfalls. She did not make any effort to identify hidden assets. She did not explain to me what terms of property settlement were enforceable and which were not. I negotiated better terms over the phone with my husband while she sent e-mails to opposing counsel stating she had plans to spend time with her kids and just wanted to be done with it. She was so eager to get her weekend started that she settled before looking at the home appraisal

Mrs. Lonowski is very knowledgeable in all her areas of practice. She is very straight forward and gets right to the point. 100% satisfied with her performance I would definitely recommend her to anyone, glad she was on my side.

Mrs. Lonowski was influential in the "positive" outcome of my case (there is NOTHING positive about divorce). I will say that at times she can seem a little bit rough around the edges with her clients but through it all I can see that she was standing up for my rights as a father and for the best possible outcome for not only me, but also my son. Mrs. Lonowski is a firm advocate for the children and their well being through it all. Sometimes saying things you don't want to hear but, honestly, that is her job when things are in the thick of it. All I can say is that if you want a good family law attorney, Mrs. Lonowski is it. If you want a counselor, look somewhere else - they are cheaper elsewhere anyway. Overall, I highly recommend Mrs. Lonowski without reservation.
