The loss of a spouse is not easy. Being in the same accident in which you lose your spouse is not easy, particularly when there are injured children involved and you are injured too. Prior to June 2015 I was skeptical about using an attorney in situations like this. Due to our accident, I discovered that I was doing myself such a disservice. After I was hit by a car I thought the most difficult thing I would have to go through was recovering from my injuries. I was seriously injured in an auto accident wherein the driver of a large pickup truck made a U-turn into the driver’s door of my vehicle. I attempted to settle the claim myself.
