I've never been in trouble with the law and considered myself to be a very involved member in the community. I was arrested and found myself going through the process of spending a weekend in jail, court dates in the future, etc. I knew I needed a lawyer but wasn't familiar with the criminal process. I called Kent and he was optimistic but also realistic and didn't over-promise. With-in a short time he called me with news that my case would be dis-missed. I was arrested and charged with a crime under questionable circumstances. By not accepting a plea deal and moving to trial, my life turned into a year-long nightmare. Kent explored legal precedence, filed motions challenging the actions of the arresting officer and on the day of the trial the case was dismissed at the request of the DA. During the entire process Kent communicated via phone, email and in person and responded in a way that, in as much as he could, alleviated the worst of my fears. He listened and extracted information relevant to my defense and used that in a way that would never have occurred to me....ultimately, together, we prevailed.
