Last October I was struck by a motorist while riding a bicycle in a bicycle lane. This accident resulted in poly trauma, two weeks of hospitalization, and permanent injuries. After my discharge I contacted Bill Doutt of VanMeveren Law Group. Bill spoke to me by phone and then came to my home to interview me. Similar to the other commentators--after being whacked a couple of times, I decided to seek help from Bryan's firm. I found that it was easy to stay completely in synch with their thinking about my case. They brought the right expertise to the table to make a fairly overwhelming case. I was able to get a clear understanding--almost spreadsheet style--in how decisions we were making would affect the outcome. Color me skeptical--but they overcame my fears to provide an excellent process and outcome. They quickly incorporated several personal vectors that I strongly preferred. Terry is an excellent, intelligent, very experienced attorney who really cares about his clients. Originally I hired an attorney who told me I had less than 10% chance of winning my case. I ended up letting him go and went with Terry based on a referral by my father in law. I spoke with Terry and he told me my case would be difficult, but that he thought he could win the case. After I hired Terry, I noted that he seemed to know all the players. He knew most of the Jefferson County Prosecutors and Judges and seemed to have an excellent working relationship with each.
