I was hit by a left turner when my wife and I were out for a motorcycle ride. The woman who hit us was underinsured to cover the expenses of my rotator cuff surgery. Thankfully my wife’s injuries didn’t require surgery and thankfully we had underinsured motorist coverage. We were reluctant to contact an attorney, thinking ‘surely the insurance company will be fair with us’. After realizing that dealing with the insurance would not be fair to us, we contacted Mac Hester and crew. I’m so glad they took our case. They helped us to understand what insurance is supposed to be for and took care of all the details. Mac and Lance both worked on my slip and fall case and did an excellent job. It is difficult to prove liability in such cases and my claim was initially denied by the adjuster for the party at fault, but Mac and Lance persevered and obtained a fair result. The settlement packet that they put together was very persuasive, showing photos of the premises where I fell, weather reports concerning the formation of ice on the day I fell, and detailed medical documentation of my damages, including x-rays of my broken femur. They were good about keeping me informed of progress in negotiations and met with me when decisions had to be made. I am grateful that I was represented by Mac Hester Law.

When our 20 year old van was totaled in an accident that was not our fault, an insurance company was not going to pay us anywhere near what it would cost us to replace our van. They completely ignored the fact that years ago we had converted this van into a wheelchair accessible handicap van used to transport a person confined to a wheelchair.
